I think the greater problem with the left at the moment is that they've hammered in this partisan narrative enough that they've gotten enough people more towards the center to either not fully understand the issue and automatically disengage because, "If an 'extremist' like X is against it, then it really must be Z-phobia," or remain silent because the overbearing minority leading the circus treat such matters as a purity test. The extremes of the left have managed to utilize language to drown out opposition to their quick-boiling frog ideals about these drag shows aimed at children and grooming in general, while the media has been especially guilty of treating it as a far-right, i.e. partisan, "conspiracy" or rampant -phobia/bigotry. And unfortunately, enough people even towards the center are easily goaded into complacency or outright support because they won't take the tiny, inconsequential amount of extra brain power to look at theclaimsof "bigotry" or "oppressive policies" through an objective lens and realize that it's nothing more than a farce.Easy: NPC Programming, i.e. "The Party Can Do No Wrong."
Those are some of the crucial details that those who have been on the drag queen crusade don't seem able to compute or justify.

We're talking about specifically fetish performers on a totally different psychological level, not just drag gags like in a comedy bit or Looney Tunes cartoon, or a joke costume like Muzzlrpress distinguished, so there shouldn't be any debate on what that's inappropriate for children. By extension, it should be obvious as to why it is suspect for such performers to have such a targeted interest towards children. It's like the old South Park episode about the boys calling the obnoxious bikers f.ags and the parents not understanding (I saw similar incident actually happen when I was a teen before that even aired) - we havelongbeen past this conversation, only for it to be dragged back up with a vengeance, but now roping in the rest of the alphabet, except the extra letters are primarily straggling perverts and mentally ill people who were rightfully left out of social acceptance by straightandgay people.
