Good. Cody is only semi interesting as a chaser. Roman can drop it to him SummerSlam. If you push someone too hard too fast the crowds would’ve turned on Cody.

So are they going to have Roman go mega-heel and beat the chit out of both Jey and Jimmy then kick them out of the bloodline for losing?
Otherwise I don't understand why they had him win after having them lose yesterday.

It's been 3 years of this crap
How many times are we going to see 50 Samoans interfere to save roman.
We are sick of it, why aren't those other Samoans sick of it? He walks round calling himself the chief, they don't realise he would have lost 25 times if not for them?
It's so boring and overdone, roman doesn't even cheat in interesting ways, his promos are boring, it's stale as ****.
At this rate we are gonna have to wait for him to age out, his face looked rubbery today, hairline beginning to show signs of receeding, beard going grey, hopefully his body starts to physically break down soon so we can get him out of the title picture.

I don't even like Cody but there's no upside to a 3 year plus reign from a guy like Roman who is good, but not exceptional.
Two massive wrestlemania moments have been sacrificed now, Edges miracle return and rumble win, and now Rhodes, doing it for dusty on the big stage.
Those would have been moments people talk about in 20 years time, nobody is going to talk about which wrestlemania was the one where 5 Samoans helped reigns beat x.
Reigns is getting on in age now, he has elevated nobody during his run on top, he's NOT a crossover star, I just don't get it.

maybe the new owners want you to pay $60 to see the title change hands
maybe they want cody to win on raw after the announcement is official
who knows why this decision was made. was a good match though and a legit great ending. was texting with a friend the whole match. after that second crossrhodes we were like here it is, for his daddy etc etc
nobody saw it coming. can't be mad.
my buddy was mad lol.

This is literally just WWE telling the fans to give themselves a rimjob at this point.
They forced Roman down our throats for 3 years by feeding every single rising star they had to him. They destroyed their own bench so bad, the only viable threat left as a hire from another company. Now they fed that guy to him too, with yet another cheap interference finish.
It's not even about Cody or whatever. It's that they know everyone is exhausted by Reigns, never wanted him in the first place, and they get a kick out of making everyone suffer. In the meanwhile, Roman looks like he's stopped working out, is barely trying, and will go back into hibernation while the shows suck with no title for another 3 months.
Legit don't know how I care enough to watch another PPV until I hear fake cancer victim reigns is gone.

Usos interfere, zayn and owens beat them up and hit their finishers on reigns and he kicks out
Cody hits like every finisher he has on reigns including bionic elbow then 3x of his actual finisher in a row.
Heyam distracts ref
Solo runs back in, Samoan spike, then I think reigns hit a spear can't remember 1,2,3.

And for good measure, I'll just call it right now: the Usos will get their titles back shortly too. The whole idea the boring Samoan crew was over will turn out to be a giant cock tease.

I just got back from the show -
I'll have to rewatch on peacock how the event went with commentary and editing for time..but shane getting hurt was probably legit because after it happened there was alot of nothing going on . they put on the video screens seth rollins entrance from the previous night and a few movie commercials that basically filled time to go no where.
The crowd loved the triple threat ic title match and cody's match; everything else seemed flat.
Maybe Cody will get the title officially AFTER the sell of wwe to the new company since they need to have stuff looking like a great deal going into a new era?
this was the first wrestlemania (day 2 at least) that had no title changes, no big returns and no appearance of any of the previous legends (hogan, rock, stone cold , etc)
I guess things have to change and today was a step in that new direction

Wasn't expecting Roman Reigns to actually retain! The storyline called for the babyface to beat the champion for his father, fans and for the children...but they're obviously wanting the 1000 day longest modern day reign for Roman. Cody won't be the one to take the titles because there is no point in having him lose at the big one just to win at a B PPV later after Reigns passes 1000 days.
Night 1-
Cena/Theory was alright. Now its time to see Theory continue to rise as the main young talent that they have on the roster.
Rey/Dominik was pretty good
Owens/Zayn/Usos was decent, obvious decision to take the titles off the Usos and probably continue this feud for another PPV. I think now after night 2, the Usos will probably win them back unless they want to split the titles up back to raw/smackdown so each tag division can have a title then just use the Usos in Bloodline stories.
Night 2:
Lesnar/Omos w/MVP was ok, it was what is was, no one was expecting anything more than a basic match with Lesnar winning with the cool giant F5.
Gunter/Sheamus/McIntyre was pretty good, the right decision to keep the title on Gunther, probably one of the better IC champs they've had.
Shane O'Mac!! with the tragic comeback, big pop but like father like son, had to tear his quad.
Edge/Balor Hell in a Cell, felt kinda flat, especially with the red and purple weapons. This really should've happened last year at a B PPV. Maybe Edge can move on to something new now.
Reigns/Rhodes match was decent, the entrance of Cody Rhodes showed he was over/had the crowd wanting him, Reigns' entrance like the commentary said: already been here and done it, just another day at the office headlining yet another massive sold out PPV for Roman. Ending could've been a bit better but overall it was the result that shocked (angered) the fans.
No days off in World Wrestling, onto Monday Night RAW tomorrow were Cody Rhodes will have to cut a 15 minutes promo explaining how he let his father and the children down.

If anyone cares what happened with the women’s showcase? Looked like Shayna Baszler had a wardrobe malfunction so Ronda ends the match quick.

Roman definitely accidentally tapped at one point. I don't care that he won I just think the interference is lame af and overdone.
Night one was way better. Bianca being the new John Cena is lame too Asuka should have won that.

The mens tag fatal 4 way - Chad with the german suplex on Braun was a good spot.
Otis crapped himself. Probably nerves.
Rhea and Charlotte was good. Hated that Charlotte lost and applauded her on the outside after the match.
Edge and Balor sucked because they stopped the match and refused to show Balor bleeding. No idea if this was a Peacock rule or just something WWE decided they wouldn't show blood, but not showing Balor and the camera angles only focusing on Edge really took the wind out of the sails. Balor had so much face and body paint I dont see how anyone would have been able to tell if he was bleeding or not.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but Rollins and Logan Paul was great. I hate Logan Paul, but this match was entertaining with the highlight of Logan Paul splashing the Prime drink mascot through the announce table.

Glad Roman retained! You cant have an AEW wrestler break Roman's long streak.
And lets face it, Cody beating Roman after Roman defeated the likes of Brock, Taker, etc., is just not believable.
Anyway, Trips said:
“Maybe for a lot of people, a shocking outcome. What I will say about that is, it’s always interesting to me when people say, ‘how can that happen?’ or ‘how can they do that in that moment?’ It’s almost perfectly spelling out in this story. ‘I need to finish the story.’ In the WWE, the story never finishes. Tomorrow night on Raw, the story continues. The story takes another chapter. We just got to the end of the chapter. The story continues and that’s where this gets interesting to me. That is what is the most amazing thing about our business, the story never ends.”
“Where do you want to go with the story and how do you want to get there? In the moment, you think, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe.’ If you’re watching a movie and you thought every scene in the movie was the last scene in the movie, ‘I can’t believe they did that, worst movie ever.’ Oh wait, there’s more. How much do we weigh that out? Every single moment of every single day. Some days when I’m trying to sleep and I can’t sleep, it’s because I’m weighing that out in my brain and I wish that I could sleep. It’s all you think about and it consumes your every moment of everything you do. You feel it. Sometimes your feeling is wrong and sometimes your feeling is right. I do know that it always continues and the story doesn’t end here. Some people will look at it and say, ‘if you did this, it would have been better.’ You don’t know that, do you? You’re never going to know because if you did the other thing, it might not have worked out the way you wanted to. People might not have reacted the way you wanted to. It’s always feel and where you are at that moment, honestly, it’s the right place to be and that’s where you have to be and bank on what’s next. If you continue to tell the story and if I didn’t feel like we had a compelling story on the other side, it wouldn’t be the decision.”

Cody is only semi interesting as a chaser. Roman can drop it to him SummerSlam. If you push someone too hard too fast the crowds would’ve turned on Cody.

The real problem is... who the fuk wins now? Are we going into year four of "herp derp maybe the Rock will do next mania"? Or do they seriously try to build up someone from 0 again?

I believe Cody will still win it, just that they let him chase a bit. Let Roman reach 1000 days, Cody wins at SummerSlam or Survivor Series. It is still their first match afterall, storylines usually end after several encounters.

I'm not mad, just disappointed. Having solo come back after the ref kicked him out is just so stupid and deflating. This Roman storyline is just beyond the point of diminishing returns now.
