People used to make the sacrifice of eating chitty food for really cheap.
Now mcdonalds cost the same price as the local mom and pop burger shop that's 20x better quality. People don't wanna eat chitty food for the price of premium food

Seems like with millenial generation at least we opt for higher quality fast food.

So that horse shiiiit where McPoverty's employees ignore their posted closing times and shut down 15 - 30 minutes early wasn't just an issue at the one specific location I went to, but it's actually a common enough problem for people across the country to notice it?
The McPoverty's I used to go to started that closing early bullshiiiit back in 2020 during covid lockdowns. They'd have employees randomly shutting the lights off and shutting it down 15+ minutes early while you were still in the drive-through, and they'd shut it down and refuse to serve if you even if you had already been waiting in the stupid lines for 5+ minutes, just so they can be lazy fukkkkers and close early. Lemme tell ya, nothing burns my asssss quite like expecting to be able to get what should be a pretty reliable/predictable fast food experience after work just ordering a couple double cheeseburger or something basic like that, and they F you over by closing early, thus making you find an alternate option at almost 10:30 pm.
I'm actually legit mind blown at how bad McDonald's got over the last few years. Everything from the bs manipulation of closing times by employees, to the worse quality and smaller portion sizes, to the service in general. I legit haven't been to a McDonald's in 5 or 6 months, now that I stop and think about it. I guess I just got tired of it it all.

Imagine if they went back to the old ways and made big macs like in and out makes burgers. They would destroy every other place.
That or have in and out start making big macs and put mcdonalds out of business.

Between crap like that and other bs they pull these days (ridiculous prices and portion sizes, constantly worsening quality, closing early, etc.), I don't see the point of going there at all anymore. I mean hell, these days, there are always even gas stations around that sell better hot food than half the bs McPoverty's serves, so they don't even have the location factor going for them at this point anymore (a big point of McDonald's success always involved them picking prime locations for fast food dumps, but that matters less and less as the years go by).

McD's is horribly overpriced for the disgusting food that they serve. Only thing I would ever buy there is a chocolate shake. ( which is getting smaller and more expensive....)

Their awful prices are what gets me the worst. McDonald's being shiiiit-tier quality has been a widely known running mainstream gag among people for as long as I've been alive. But, they used to be cheap, and pretty fast. Now they are expensive af for what you get, and they usually move pretty slow compared to even a few years ago too.

For the price of their combo meals, you can go to a local mom and pop diner or restaurant and get a nice fresh cooked meal with more substance for the same price.
