He was booked. Was really an arrest. Secret Cervix protections change some of the formalities a bit. Trump has a felony arrest on his criminal record - forever. Even if he's acquitted, he has an arrest record.

For all the talk about "wait for the indictment," there isn't much in the indictment about the acts itself. The indictment just repeats one paragraph, only with different dates and check #'s. It also doesn't say what crime Trump allegedly tried to conceal (e.g. federal campaign violation)
