Your reddit is showing. I didn't even mention your other posts about "being a decent human being"

Maybe you should go back to reddit since its more up your alley.

Also lol at thinking you got it all figured out because you understand 4th grade anatomy. I see people question why a pen cap has a hole in the lid and the answer is something dumb and completely trivial. Meanwhile you are over here questioning an appendix like its some worthless organ yet you nor anyone else knows what its for "yet"

I live in a northern latitude and my grass stays green throughout the winter. Not sure what that dumb fgt is on about.

Sounds like you don’t understand what mass formation psychosis is. Or you’re judging religion without actually understanding what it is.
Hopefully over time you’ll have your eyes opened and see the way.

That assumes several things. One that the weather in Israel today is the same as it was during Christ's time. For example: several thousand years ago the Sahara wasn't even a desert, but was a grassland with good amounts of rainfall. Second it's both cold weather and lack of rain that prevents grass from growing. Even taking into account the differences in winter weather, why would modern scholars and early church writers still speculate that he couldn't have been born during winter? Clearly it was grassy enough for the sheep to eat from the fields instead of relying on the hay in barns or sheds.

If you can convince me that your god is a thing, I’ll gladly change my mind. I do have my own higher power that I believe in but it is no man with a name.
I'm not going to get into a religious argument online beyond these statements but Zeitgeist (I didn't watch the video but I am assuming its the movie based on title) has been debunked several times over. Also, you would be hard pressed to find a legitimate historian (an actual expert on the subject) that would not say Jesus was a real person. The statements made about him are up for debate, but not that he walked the earth

Religious stories are profoundly stupid and so why do people keep believing them?

It's because these delusional and absurd stories are told to people BY THEIR PARENTS and so that makes the brainwashing strong. If my mom told me about Jesus and she's wrong, it could mean that everything she says is wrong and my mom is an idiot.

So, you have the psychotic stories directly tied to the love and respect you have for parents, teachers, authority figures, etc.

That's why it's hard to kill religions.

With jews, they have special times of the week, meals, etc and it's all nonsensical stupidity, which means their entire family history is STUPID and so they will stick to saying their religion is true, even though it's obviously not.

In India they are trying to prove how ancient medicine could attack an elephant head onto a human body, thus creating Ganesha.

It's the same thing.

I go back and forth, I may not believe everything in the bible but science does a chit job of explaining existence. The more I think about it the more I think there's a creator and something may or may not happen after death.

Because of this I don't disrespect religion like edgy atheists like to do since a religious society is also much better than a godless one.

Science comes from the Latin word "scientia", which means knowledge. It's not about trying to explain existence or the meaning of life. All it can tell you is HOW something works, not WHY it works the way it works.

The scientific community is filled with edgy fedora atheists who think their understanding of reality is more logical than those "who believe in the flying spaghetti monster". Both sides require a great deal of faith to agree completely.

I've always considered there being 3 all-time epic troll jobs across human history. Organized religion is definitely #1. It has brainwashed literally millions into believing fairy tales. The other 2 consist of the female bikini and the American college scam

So they don't all worship the same sky fairy of Abraham?

Just because doctrines were split doesn't change who the ultimate sky fairy is.

That would be like saying Episcopalians worship a different sky fairy because Henry VIII wanted a divorce.

That issue is at least remedied to some extent by people who take the position that God created the universe with a purpose and then let things play out rather than claiming that God created some fully formed adult human beings a few thousand years ago and developed much of the rest of the universe as some kind of psy-op.
Of course its a cop out. Because none of us know why. And God is not a 'trickster'. And not everything is a test. And youre thinking about this (as of course you would, as a linear being) through the single dimensional viewpoint. We dont know if God is or isnt linear. And really its all irrelevant to the point you either believe or you dont. The desire to know the hows and whys is your will, not his.

That's like saying learning about political dynamics from studying Winston Churchill is a science fiction problem.

It literally existed, and the wisdom derived is self-contained from analyzing his life.

No its a pretty core Christian belief that you come to God through Christ. "he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.” If the Christians belief that you reject God by rejecting Christ(who is God), they cannot worship the same God as the Jews and the Muslims.

Secular people may make the claim that they are all attempting to worship the same god but that doesn't make it true. Your example is also a false comparison in trying to equate ecclesiology with theology.

Since Adler talks about this a lot, what do you think is a good alternative to dealing with disordered parents?

Ignoring is not realistic since they're still out there potentially causing problems.

Religious brainwashing's pimp hand is so strong they have people here completely forgetting about the perverse corruption that has been deeply rooted in the Abrahamic Religions since the beginning of time.

Most of the world is NOT Atheistic and is majority believers, so why is the World still so chitt?

The wholesomeness washing and revisionist history of Islam and Christ****ggotree will never not be a riot on here.

Organized Religion plays a pivotal role in why the World is the way it is.

Alfred Adler did talk about the effects of family and a person's position in the family a lot. Your birth order can determine your view of life as first, second, youngest kids all become aware of importance in the order of things.

I don't recall Adler talking about abandonment issues with divorced kids much but the logic is that a divorced kid could believe they have "no place" in the order of family. If the youngest kid believes that the oldest kid is closest to their parents, so they must act differently to be special, then how about a kid with parents who aren't there and have no presence?

The kid is going to be aligned with no one and not even themselves.

Adler noted that the oldest kid tends to align with the parents while the youngest tries to come up with their own unique method of doing things. That's to feel superior to the powerful people in the house.

So, a kid with no reliable parents, do not have to fight against siblings, their parents, or anyone for power and so they will not develop their own unique style. They don't have to and so they end up directionless.

I deal with kids like this all of the time, they aren't interested in ANYTHING and have very bland personalities.

I don't know if you can get disordered parents to be more ordered. That's because they will not believe common sense ideas about working together, being around, not resenting innocent kids, and so on.

I have gotten parents who hated each other to agree to pay as much attention as possible to the kid without having to see the other parent.

That only works if the parents love the kid, which is not always the case as the kid may be an object of hate by one or more of the parents.

The only idea that would work is a new society where something like Islam locks males and females into place. But, that's not real and the only alternative is just to keep letting abandoned children keep mounting until there's a social meltdown morals change.

I was thinking about this earlier today.

Religious morals are fake and created fake social situations where people say one thing and do the other.

Religious people are always waiting for people to believe and stop doing negative things. Meanwhile, no actual system has been made to make people stop.

Meanwhile, different professions have "codes of ethics" and if you are a doctor and do that, you are in trouble. However, there's nothing like that for average people, and so people will do whatever they can get away with. Religious people then hope this stops with not real attempts to stop anything.

I too used to be an edge lord who lol'd at "retards who believe in the magic sky man".

Then I realised I actually had no idea what I was talking about and my opinion wasn't based on anything except my superiority complex. Once I actually looked into it, turns out I was the retard all along.

The young bull says "Let's run down this hill and fuk one of those heifers."

The old bull replies "No. Let's walk down there, and fuk them all."

Marxism / Communism is the biggest ever mass psychosis. As far as I can tell in my lifetime, the modern neo-Communism / Cultural Marxism is far more worthy of the title of "Psychosis" than anything I've ever seen from religious people.
Religious folk, in my experience, are usually annoying but friendly at worst. Even Westboro Baptist look downright civil compared to what we see now from the modern commie cult.

Let me preface this by saying God IS real and The Holy Bible IS the word of God.

If you read the bible you'll notice that there IS only one God who created the heavens and the Earth and a bunch of other fraudsters acting 'like god' or some bullsh*t.

God created the Heavens and the Earth, and there was a conflict in Heaven, some rebelling angels got cast down to Earth and starting acting as if they are gods on earth by misusing their magical abilities on mankind.

Because God/Yahweh loves mankind, God sent his only begotten son, Jesus Christ to Earth to pay for our sins and through believing in Jesus we, you, and I are guaranteed salvation and eternal life.

The 5000 other gods who are not Yahweh or Jesus from the bible are actually the 'fallen angels' who the real God kicked out of heaven and allows to reign for some period of time before the final judgement comes on mankind - this is where those other 'gods' come from and why each culture has a pantheon of gods that are all the same.

I've been a member here for 13 years and I remember you from back in the day talking about your pre workout addictions, so trust me when I say that I've been an atheist, spiritualist and ultimately realized the truth and went back to Jesus Christ and The Holy Bible.

How dumb do you have to be to believe you have a finite amount of time and spend it triggered over a God you don’t believe exist

I'm personally a Nhilist but religion doesn't really bother me. Unfortunately, I do feel it's necessary. I truly believe without religion, our society would become an anarchist debauchery because of our nature. Im not one of those psuedo intellectual Atheists who thinks I'm better than a religious person...I simply don't put any stock in any kind of faith. The ONLY issue I have with religion is that the only thing keeping religious folks decent is a promise of a divine reward.

Imagine thinking you're smarter than religious folks because of science than using that "science" to convince everyone that men can get pregnant and have menstrual cycles...

Believe what you want but just lol if you try to push your beliefs on other people

If you can convince me that your god is a thing, I’ll gladly change my mind. I do have my own higher power that I believe in but it is no man with a name.
Only a total smooth brain will watch Zeitgeist and be like, "Hurr durr Jesus a myth and religion bad".
This apologist Trent Horn totally obliterated this nonsense. It's an hour but well worth it.

blah blah, you don't need to prove anything because it's "faith"
It's true, though. And it's more accurate to say that you can't prove it, not that you don't have to.

That's what faith is. Belief in the inconclusive. We all operate with faith. That's why you have plans for tomorrow. Dieing today isn't part of your beliefs even though you can die today.

You just keep on living with faith in tomorrow.

Some people have faith in God.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

The "guidance" from some cult is false.

You know there's many different religions in the world and they all have different commands that are "guidance", right?

Some religions say things that are opposite of each other, so then what?

Which do you follow?

The answer is that you follow the one your mom told you about because that HAS to be right because she told you it!!

Then, you go and blow people up.

Facts:

The facts are what practical people observe and not fantasy stories.
