Second kid (or third if you count a late term "miscarriage") on the way. Kinda nervous and excited at the same time.

Brahs, this kid is a friggin tank. Barely 18 months old and we are sitting in our playroom after dinner tonight and he randomly starts doing farmer carries with two full gallons of water like it ain't chit. Also closing in on 3' tall already.

Mirin bro
My son will be 7 months on the 14th and he’s at least 22lbs. Haven’t weighed him in a bit but watching my wife carry him is comical because he’s the size of her torso (she’s 5’2 and petite)
Fingers crossed he keeps it up and ends up like your son too

Sounds like you got a biggun too brah. Mine was around 23-24# at his 6 month checkup, so he hasn't gotten much heavier in the past year (30-31# RN) but he is like a whole foot taller.

And yeah, my wife is only like 5'3" so he is already over half her height. He looks ridiculously oversized when she holds him.

Lol same, dude--my son hits 7 months tomorrow and he's right about 20lbs. Kid is already wearing some 18-month sized stuff already. Our wives are even the same height.

Heck yeah dude! As of a couple days ago he’d outgrown his 12 month stuff/started in 18 month clothes. Too funny because being a manlet I didn’t expect him to end up big. If he didn’t look like my twin maybe I’d be worried lol

Are your kids super chunky? Breast feed or formula?

My son is 9 months, 19.6 pounds but tall, I forget the number but 92% for height for his age. He is breast milk feed. I'm 6'-5" and 260 pounds. I hope he is tall and lean. I have always had the chunky gene. I can gain weight just looking for chit foods. I hope he doesn't have that.

Dude is taking his first steps. he can do around 5 before he falls and he can stand up unassisted for 10-15 seconds.

Its amazing how much more fun they become as they age.

Chits about to get real in the whole foods parking lot!!!!!!!!!!!!

My son learned to walk with a walker right around that age. After he mastered that, he learned to run with the walker. He was a holy terror with that thing. Then one day around his first birthday, I was watching TV and heran, not walked, into the room without it and looked at me and started cackling then ran out. Those were the first step I saw him take on his own.

Mine is breast fed, now breast fed plus baby lead weening. He’s never had formula.
Last appointment was at 4 months and he was 90th percentile for height and weight but I think 10% head lol
It’s never looked small to me but he doesn’t have a giant head like our neighbors one year old. That kid is a giant though, came out 12lbs and it was a natural home birth. Pretty nuts.
He flys in his walker and has crawling down now. He’s starting to pull himself standing now and is starting to do alright behind his push walker. Need to get him on that more, we had pulled back because we were trying to make sure he didn’t skip crawling.

Feels. My daughter is 17 months and has always been around 10-15% for weight... and like 80% head.

Mom is Asian and I was nicknamed watermelon head after being born, so there's that.

Our daughter got her first real mark on her today from a fall. Fell over and landed on a wooden block with the side of her head. Smashed her ear good and it's all purple. Interested to see what it will look like tomorrow. Little blood, but man it's bruising like crazy. Top part of the ear.

So this made me laugh and I figured my fellow dads would appreciate it.
Yesterday we’re sitting on the couch and my son (almost 7 months old) pulls down my wife’s tank top and starts nursing.
That was definitely a first.

lol we measured little man last night. 28” tall, 22.5lbs and 17” head at just shy of 7 months.
Think we may go do a checkup at 9 months but may hold off to a year, not sure yet.

Yeah. I know those feels. My oldest is finishing up his junior year of high school. I can't believe he'll be a senior next year. Two more summers to get in all the things I want to do with him before he moves off to college.

Fuuuuaaarrrk I'm not looking forward to these feels. I love watching my little dude learn and grow, but I definitely am not ready for it to end.

Speaking of little Novacaine, no news there other than still just completely mogging kids his own age. Blows people's minds when they meet him and guess he is 2-3 years old then we say ~20 months.

Happy Wednesday y’all
I recently picked back up the 100 pushups a day thing
My little man (almost 10 months old) typically smiles and laughs and then tries to climb on me.

Got a text from my wife earlier
“I think our son is trying to do pushups like you. He’ll get into the crawl position and bend his arms and then bang his head on the floor. At first I thought he was broken but then realized what he was doing”

Starting him early lmao

Very wholesome dad moment, that you first child?

My first son is 5 months, sometimes he wakes up early so I take him to the basement to hang with me while I workout. He was watching me do pullups the other day with a purely mesmerized look on his face, lol it was awesome. Boy is a beast already, he won't chill on his back anymore hes rolling over non stop now.

Man I tell you best advice I can give you is to get that baby on as much of a schedule as you can and stick to it. We've done it with both of ours and it definitely makes it seem a lot easier than people who just wing it. They seem to perform a little better mentally as well, just from a purely anecdotal perspective.

Im sure you feel very proud! Thats awesome bro, just gets better and better as the boy gets older. Absolutely cant wait for him to walk.

Funny how the baby clothes work, my boy wears 12month and is 5 months lol. I wonder is he really just that huge or do they do this with baby clothes to make stroke your ego lol.

Like how women’s clothes are getting bigger but the sizes read smaller.
I haven’t been around a lot of babies but our son is bigger than most he interacts with. Pretty awesome considering I’m a manlet lol. Looking like he gets his size from my grandpa.
