Sounds like this game is a dumpster fire if the dev's can't even be bothered to optimize and compress this game.


Nothing from what I've seen about this game makes it justify having 155gb lmfao. Isnt it cross gen too? ded.




No biggie for me ... brb 2.6 tb for ps5 and 4.5tb for pc .... feelsgoodman.

That's 155 on poverty PC.

PS5 master race will have a much smaller file size.

Doubtful its actually 150 GB worth of game.

Sound files almost always eat up the most space. So it probably has a ton of languages on it.

This reminds me of the new Need for Speed game, they tried to sell it for $70 - $80, after the first month or two it was already being discounted to $35 - $40. I imagine this could be different if it actually sells well, but I think I will be fine just waiting for it to show up on GamePass.

Doesn't mean much when PC just gets poverty ports of console games. PS5 = 10 teraflops. The best PC's right now push past 100 teraflops. Yet despite your hardware, the insane optimizations made possible on the PS5 have produced the best looking games possible.

As someone who has all the consoles and a fast pc let me tell ya
The difference is pretty much nothing across the board. They are all fast and you won't really notice a difference loading games between the platforms even pc.

I get the feeling that this game will have performance issues at launch.

First game was pretty decent. Just the map designs were stupid. Felt like I was running in circles for most of the game trying to find where to go next.

This game is not a day one purchase, IMO. Wait for reviews and then wait for price drop to $40-50.

The quoted max speed on a PC HDD is pie in the sky. It will never be able to dedicate that speed to one application i.e. a game. It has a million other things to load and save. PS5 HDD has a custom controller dedicated entirely to loading a game and the OS is extremely efficient. Nice try though

I am Divine 5 in DOTA 2 and while not immortal it's an insanely hard rank to reach. Been on PC over 10 years and competitive play was pretty much all I had during those times. The switch to single player happened only after the pandemic and I realised how amazing single player games could be.

I fully agree with you that PC has far more power, and if devs made games just for 4090 Godtier PC's, minds would be blown. Problem is, PC power is so spread out that even today there are PS5 games that mog the best PC games. There's a clear advantage when a game is developed and optimized totally for one system despite having 1/10th the power of the most capable PC.

What the hell are you talking about. Here's my m.2 benchmarked, you know, running one application.



Custom OS? The PS5 runs freeBSD. They use it because it's free, just lmao at thinking it's some NASA space tech stuff. It's just a Unix OS. They also switched to a x86 architecture, which was a good move after how terrible the cell engine was for the PS3. It's basically a mini-PC at this point, one that is getting forever slower as soon as it launches. It can't even run native 4k except on 1-2 games.

Nevermind the ps5 only has 16gb of shared GPU/system memory. Do you even know how a computer works? Just stick to consoles bro and having daddy Sony help you not brick your stuff. Don't forget to pay your $70 just to be able to go online just lmao.

They're more than likely using a 4090 so yeah, mine can. PS5 is only two generations behind now.

That's just it man, you can have that single player experience on PC too. Only you can run native 4k, 144hz, use whatever controller you want, etc. I beat Elden Ring first on PS5, then again on PC. No comparison, PC was better. More stable frame-rate, better fidelity; I also have an overpriced DAC/amp + headphone setup so that adds to it too.

My favorite thing about the PS5 isn't the graphics, it's that I can play it on the couch and with other people. I've beaten Ghost of Sushi, FF7 remake, etc. all on PS5. Would they be better on PC? Maybe, but sometimes you just wanna hang out on the couch and play.
