*Massive ice storms that hit Ontario/Quebec* - how my brahs doing?

We got absolutely assraped by ice a few days ago in these parts leading millions to be without power for a while. A number of people are still in the dark. My power returned, then left, then returned, then left, and now it's back so I'm getting it together and prepping for another potential blackout. Just swooping in and checking in to see how my misc boyos who live in this area and were impacted by the storm are doing. I hope you didn't get hit too severely and that you're doing well. We're all gonna make it.

Yesterday, I pooped in a bucket like an animal (srs). I'm on a well so when there's no power, there's no water. It was like the apocalypse out here.

What a great start to an otherwise sunny long weekend!

We did not hear about this storm in DC, dam dude be safe and stock up on fried rice when the power is out.

You can draw some emergency water and boil some for heating

If your place is air tight you can stay warm (and moist) by boiling water on the stove

It's been nice since yesterday. I was out in a t-shirt mucking about looking at fell trees. Thousands of peope here still dont have power. Those of us who do are all chipping in to help out. Some local restaurants are giving away free food, local community centers are opened to get warm/charge stuff. Although I will say it's kind of sad that it takes a catastrophe to bring people together. What are you gonna do.
