Honestly chill in Chicago during the summer (the actual city, the nice part).

Got the beach, baseball games, festivals, Navy Pier.

Go to a Cubs day game on a nice day, lots of HNNNNNGGGG

Sox is good too but not as good.

It's pretty nice.

For those of us that dont live near those features a rock formation that is thousands of feet high is spectacular and worthy of a visit. Three million people visit Sedona (a single series of national parks) a year. Those numbers would indicate that it is something special and worthy of a visit.

A lot of those are just locals walking their dogs. I go to a state park near me and a fed park to walk my dog or fish a couple times a week. Veteran discount too.

I'm not from the Rockies and only lived in Denver for a few years, so you are incorrect.

Seeing a mountain is exciting for about 30 seconds.

If you go to the mountain there's nothing there but trees and rocks, there's nothing mentally stimulating.

I went to Kansas and wanted to get out of there ASAP. It's an endless desert with wind and wheat fields. It's interesting....for like a half hour, then I want to leave.

You have to be low IQ to be like...look at that tree...for days on end on a vacation where you are surrounded by trees.

Years later, when you tell the story of your "adventure" you will say what? We saw some trees, went for a walk, and there was a nice mountain?

I have so many adventure stories from New York City, it's crazy. Also, life is a daily adventure where I live now.

You could see the natural sights that you can't see elsewhere.

Places like the Grand Canyon or Redwood Forests or Blue Ridge Mountains.

NYC is full of tourists and NYC is a very cool place honestly can be expensive too.

I would recommend going to NYC as it is the number one tourist destination in the USA.

But you can always go do outdoors stuff like hunting and fishing and camping.

There are many large national parks and large coastlines that you can drive.

California has the Coast Starlight train that goes from LA to Seattle.
