Would you like to be there watching your baby come out, or wait outside (like they do in Russia)?

I don't recommend it.
And to be honest, once your kid is born you realize that your wife's body now belongs to your kid as he's in constant need of her for food, comfort and security. Your wife takes on the mother's role and it might take a while for you to want to sleep with her again.

heard guys get traumatized after it. used to watch birth vids and the husband's face was looks of horror. i mean, not sure if they're just squeamish or the whole thing disgusted them

some guys noted they had little desire to have sex with their wives after witnessing them give birth

Don't go in the waiting room. They will try to pull you into the labor room. They'll make you feel like a solid gold azzhole for not wanting to be there to "support" your wife. Just stay out of the hospital until she calls you.

I helped deliver my daughter. Midwife pulled out the head and first shoulder. I got in there and pulled her the rest of the way out and gave her to mom. It was cool AF and didn't bother me in the slightest. Still fuk my wife with the fury of 1,000 incels.

It has never in all of human history been customary for men to witness child birth. The midwife was there to support her and help deliver the baby.

Western countries only adopted that custom couple decades ago, and given everything we see and know now about our culture, that means it absolutely has some kind of negative clown world poison effect.

Easiest thing in the world, and helps your wife a lot with support mentally. Of course if you do things wrong like everyone does, and use medications, allow wife to get fat, not use natural substances and routines to reduce pain etc., then yeah, you will both have unpleasant experience, but if you do things right it’s so easy. You don’t even need a hospital, a birthing pool (a tub with water) and a midwife helper/doula at home, done. Been there/done that/got the t-shirt. Cut the cord myself. Wife didn’t break a sweat, no tearing, no pain medications, nothing.

Ex-wife (cunttrying to ruin my life) had a C-section. I would have watched a natural birth if it were an option. The second I found out she was pregnant, we were a family. It wasn’t about my wife’s clam. I was dedicated to being the best father and husband I could.

Waited til my son was born to find out his sex/gender. When I saw his tiny ween and large sack, I knew he was mine and I cried like a little bitch. There’s nothing better in this world than seeing your progeny bravely enter this world. (Ded fkn srs)

My wife was on her knees, doggy style position, and my son’s head came out, face up. There was a pause of several seconds with his head out and the rest of his body still inside her. He experienced contact with air for the first time ever and his lips wrinkled into a kind of sneer. 16 years later he still does that exact same thing with his lips, that exact same facial expression.

Will never forget that moment as long as I live.

The fuk are some of you getting these stories? Unless I'm just lucky, there wasnt chit everywhere, no "poop dam", no stitches up to her bellybutton, no eating the placenta.

I'm glad I was there for both. Especially my son (first born). It was actually fascinating because he cried for about 2 seconds then opened his eyes and looked directly at me. Then he looked at all the nurses and began looking around the room, just taking it all in.

lmao i wouldnt eat at someone's house if i knew they made food, smoothies, and soup out of their own placenta. i used to watch a lot of birth videos on yt back in like pre 2010 and the disgust was unanimous between men and women. i mean most of the people present were just morbidly curious, and left traumatized and regretful, but like a train wreck couldn't stop watching.
