No that isn't my position. My position was Stalin, for his time, was the greatest leader in human history by any reasonable metric. But we can and should do better. We know a lot more. And we can have freedom and social democracy. We can have markets. It needs to be a mixed system. And we don't need to kill a million Kulaks or forcibly move people around and confiscate their chit or enslave society to do it.

We should be willing to kill literal nazis and terrorists who want to destroy human civilization though.

Bureaucrats are usually very cheap, at least as far as business expenses go. Big incentive to lobby for expansive government. Dealing with courts and lawsuits can get messy and expensive. Making friends with someone like fauci that has an enormous ego and isn't nearly as smart as he thinks he is - much easier and cheaper.

Yup. This was 10 to 15 years ago but I know of someone that got diagnosed with cancer in Canada and they were like, well it's currently not life threatening so we'll schedule you for treatment in 6 months and let's just hope it doesn't metastasize during that time. He was like nah fuk that, hopped on a plane to the US and got the **** cut out inside of a week. That was in Toronto which I think is one of the better places in Canada for getting treatment. If you're in a rural area good luck.
