I remember before Netflix streaming was popular, it was all about Redbox

Convenient and easy to use to rent films. The feeling of going to a Redbox and finding a couple films I wanted to watch. Hnnnnnnnngggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh. Would Redbox and chill with my gf at the time. But I actually watched the movies. No homo. I do laugh though when I still see those things at stores.

I never really liked Blockbuster. I used to go to a different chain called Hastings. They had video rentals, books, merchandise, toys, news stand, and video games.

Yeah Redbox was honestly the goat for awhile. Seemed like they always had new movies right on dvd release when no other place did.

Now it’s either movies that have also been released on every streaming platform or some low budget films.

I think I’ve rented a movie once in the past 4 years when it used to be every weekend like 7 years ago.

Don’t even have the app on my phone anymore

I remember them having some kind of deal where you get a free rental after a certain amount. Am I remembering that correctly. Sh!t was awesome. Just instant. Yeah I'm really surprised seeing it still around.

Yeah they used to email you a code for a free day-rental.

I think they will be around for awhile. Seem to be low cost and low maintenance.

Jesus Christ, Voidgaze catching strays while he's probably just minding his own business and painting his Warhammer figures.
