THAT BEING SAID....I live in a pretty affluent area in S Cal (mainly white/Asian with a few blacks) and if I saw and heard a black/white/Asian kid (but especially black) knocking/at my door at 9:30 at night? One I would not answer the door and two yes I would get my gun. I would yell what do you want and proceed from there. I for sure would not shoot though and that is where people really need to consider this guys age. He looks OLD/SENILE. Looks crazy if I am being honest. So you add in all of those factos and I can UNDERSTAND how this incident happened.

It doesn't excuse it. But I can understand it.

1. Already stated by authorities there is no video/cameras weren't on or aren't real.

2. This isn't fuking body cam. Your private surveillance at your private residence isn't subject to public domain and would never be made public unless the homeowner chose to do so.

Makes me think of 9/11 firefighters whose families got millions post-event in federal aid/charities and those firefighters who died on 9/10 or 9/12 (which is highly unlikely as its a very very low-risk job) only got whatever the standard death payout was by NYC at the time.


coincidentally, they STILL have fundraisers for the firefighter's families of 9/11 over 20 years later!!!! some actor guy who is always in firefighter movies runs some charities for it...always goes on and on. Blond older guy.

Find a post I have made saying the old man wasn't wrong. Early on before we knew anything, I said if the the kid came in the house the guy would be within his rights to shoot - if he shot him outside the door then he is fuked.
Yes the guy is stupid and wrong. End of story. Being scared can't be justification for what happened. It can help us to understand his state of mind, but it doesn't excuse his actions. My point is this particular story in general.
Why are some of you so upset at this, but not at the dozens of other black people being killed every day? The same people that love to cry racism sure do like to pick and chose which events to be outraged about. That's my only point.
Those 4 teens killed last week in Alabama didn't get this much exposure. No calls from the White House, No millions in donations, no visits from the race hustlers arriving in their Lear Jets. Why this one though?

The police report reads as two sides to every story, but the ONLY thing that you could even consider damning about the boy is in the police report the old man said that the kid had his hands on the OUTSIDE storm door, and was trying to open it. He then literally admits to blasting him through the glass.
