Would you rather be in the NFL or a computer scientist?

Nfl players risk getting CTE and going broke after they stop playing

Computer scientiests risk getting carpel
Tunnel and not getting laid

Which path do you choose?

Majority of nfl players go broke after a couple years past retirement and not all are getting laid like that

Think of the bloatlord positions. They're sleeping with silencespeaks

Also the average nfl career is a couple years or so

John Urschel had the choice between being an NFL player or a mathematician, and he chose the latter.

I risked getting blown up for three deployments making at most $20k a year. I’d risk CTE for millions and millions of dollars to play a game.

How is this even a question?

Honestly, you make way more money in the NFL even as a bench rider, but it is risky because you can get cut or injured easily. It's also just a hard job -- like physically hard.

Assuming I’d still be a contender, UFC. I have no interest in CS so I’d rather get paid to get my ass kicked than hate every day of my life.

Computer scientist. Don't enjoy taking hits. Won't enjoy being hopped on pain meds, weed and steroids for half a year. Don't want lifelong damage for a few hundred thousand a year

Money isn't that much better unless you're a high draft pick or get a second contract

If it's league minimum (meaning sub 1 million per year) and likely only in the league for like 3 years then I'm not trading places with myself.
