Finished setting up living room, how’s I do? (PICS)

How’d* fukk

I got the couch on Monday, end table Tuesday, coffee table yesterday. Today I mounted the TV and shelf. How’s it look Boyos?

Couch is actually really good quality for the price and decently comfortable. A lot of miscers told me it would be chit for the price lol.

Got the coffee/end tables on wayfair both like 60-70% off.

I’m very happy with the results for under $600. Might add a chair eventually.

Couch: $427
Coffee/end tables: $62
TV mount: $38
Wall shelf: $16

Total cost: $543

TV is too small for the distance. It might be mounted at the right height, but it’s too small.

TVs aren’t meant to be mounted so you have to crane your neck back to see due to the height before anyone recommends that.

Lol why? The recommended viewing height was 42” I mounted it at 48” in the center.

It looks perfect height from the couch.

Fkn lol at how everyone obsesses over tv size. 15 years ago this TV would’ve been huge!

It’s a 43” btw. I’ll probably get a 55” soon but not really in a rush.

Mirin' sound setup. TV speakers in a room with nothing but hard surfaces for sound waves to bounce off of. And no bass at all. Must sound like AM radio echoing through a cave.

That’s my router/modem on top of the cable box. Speakers aren’t a bad idea though.

Are we 18-23? Then it's fine.

I got a 65" from Costco for my guest bedroom that costs $350. Looks just as good as my $1,800 75" main TV.

Get a new TV.

You did in fact goof with the TV though. Size is primarily a function of distance. The further away the TV is, the bigger it should be. TVs aren't expensive these days so it's best to just get the right size.

It's ok to goof though, you won't get these things right the first time around. Goofing is how you learn.
It’s just the tv I already had. Definitely aware that a bigger one would be better.

is there room so you could put the couch along the counter top? than i'd buy a tv stand and have the tv in front of the window. than you can look outside when watching tv or watch tv when cooking.
