Leftists always say they aren’t single issue voters and that, while they disagree with the tranny insanity(especially pushing it on kids), they support a lot of the other things that are being done. So I wonder if this is the kinds of things they’re talking about. They love the inflation, increased taxes, sh!t show at the border, worsened business environment, perpetual war machine, and crap like the mortgage policy so much that they’re willing to overlook the fact that their party says giving children access to puberty blocking hormones and other measures is one of the biggest healthcare issues in our country today.

Just lol if you think joe is anything but obama part 2. Only this time, you have someone with an 84 iq and dimentia at the wheel instead of a mildly intelligent black panther. I'm glad hes pulling this wild chit... the sooner trump is voted back in the better.

Yeah that's what I meant by take home. After you get raped on taxes and "social security insurance".

Now you get to pay even more poor people insurance on top of all that.

This dude always wants to punish the responsible and the middle class. Anyways this is for FHA loans anyway. You shouldn’t be buying a house if you can do conventional. Ded fkn srs. People with high credit scores won’t go FHA anyways

Absolutely nonsensical - what is the actual point in building a good credit history, if you're then penalised for it?

The idea is horrid, the principle behind it is pharked up.

That said, I read from the articles that it's "only" like $50/month more on average with this bill if your credit score is high. You can totally counter this if you saved another $10k for a down payment for a 30 years fixed rate mortgage. Went into a mortgage calculator, pretended I have 20% down, saw the principle, and to move the payment down $50 it was like $8k-9k down payment difference. One thing financially responsible people do is to put down 20% to avoid PMI, so just add another $10k to that to off-set everything. If you already have 20% down, $10k should only take another 3-6 months to save, which is not a game-changing amount of time.

I suppose one possible loophole is to intentionally lower your credit score right before you try to finance a house too.

War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength. High credit scores are bad.

Saw a write up elsewhere that pointed out this plan would be de facto racist against Asian people who as a group have higher credit scores.

You have good credit, why are you doing a FHA loan? It means you don't have the down payment or the right credit. It means you have to pay PMI.So sounds like Biden once again is trying to kill the working class to help the welfare class.
Right.

Of course he said that about steroids and would never say it about something that actually makes sense.
And yet we have longstanding policies which punish people for being married with children. If you are poor being legally wed reduces your level of government support thus encouraging single parent households and male disengagement.

One of the points in favor of negative income tax- as I understand it a negative income tax could encourage family formation and work if it is structured such that those behaviors are at least not penalized.

Some misconception in this thread. This will impact all loans backed by Fannie/Freddie, which would be most mortgages unless they would be a high enough amount that it would fall under a jumbo. So not just FHA loans. A lot of responsible people with a high credit score will end up paying more now. Glad I purchased/re-fied before this garbage went into place. "I wIlL noT InCrEase yOUr tAxEs." Lousy ass democrats. Can't believe anyone with half a brain falls for what they are being spoon-fed and/or actually knows and still willingly votes that way.

It has nothing to do with liberals thinking they are actually doing something good, and everything to do with pandering for votes. That's litetally all any of it has ever been about.

You're completely full of shiiit trying to turn it into an anti-man thing regarding marriage. I've seen just as many disengaged/poorly engaged women as men when it comes to their kids/families as men. This isn't 1953.

You're kidding yourself if you don't think eventually even Roth IRA's will be taxed. They'll end up saying "oh we're going to tax it at a tiny itty bitty rate" until it gradually grows and grows. Its still probably your best bet, but the government doesn't care about retaxing you on your own money.

IDK where you got that my post was "anti-man". The majority of the time if two unmarried people have a child the child stays with the mother, not the father. Just a fact. There may be some rare cases where a father keeps a child and a mother dips out, but it is much less common.
