She should never have been sent. The thing is, because a gun is added to the situation, if she had not have shot him he could have got the gun off her and she could be the dead one. It's a ****ty situation and bring a lone armed female made it an even ****tier situation. The guy clearly wasn't right in the head and two male officers should have apprehended him with non lethal force.

I blame whoever sent her alone.

Santa Clarita is a nicer area of Los Angeles so it's not that she was sent alone to that call, it's that she probably wanted to girlboss it up and handle a bum call alone. She reeks of someone who just got off of field training, and she probably only got off because she fits a diversity requirement.

all I can say is thank god the bum was white, so no one is going to give a chit.

That guy would have gotten the help he needed and be still alive if a competent male officer or two were there. They would also be charged with murder if they did what she did but that probably won’t happen in this case.

Not only by getting into that situation as a lone female in the first place, but he was pushing her telling her to go away, she could've just gone away at any time, call in backup, let a couple physically capable men handle it without a gun. Yep she had so many options before execution. Anyone who thinks that was justified is a psychopath. She sounded like a scared soccer mom which is another issue obviously but she still had many other options. Only in america does that situation end up in a shooting. All your cops know how to do is draw and shot.

Sloots should never be in a place of authority.
It’s like watching a sloot drive . Sloots can in fact do the basics , but in a panic situation when the cars rear slides out a bit in the snow , they’re fuked . Instead of taking some actual invasive action, they just hit the brakes and typically end up in the ditch upside down .

The woman shouldn't have even been sent there. No win situation. She has zero chance subduing him physically. Her only option is pull out the gun, or get her **** kicked in. American PDs are underfunded, overworked, and riddled with diversity hires and expected to deal the legions of mentally ill criminals in the US. In other countries they would have sent 15 officers armed with nets to wrangle him like a rabid dog.

Nah they would have done everything in their power to deescalate the situation, by having a conversation with him and backing off. Would not have sent 1 officer out alone either especially a woman.
