I hate that chit. When I applied to this job I gave my old supervisors number without telling him and he ghosted the HR lady. So I had to scramble to find a friend who would pose as my manager and he had my back.

Never putting a real supervisor down again.

Just tell them you’d rather they have no contact your current supervisor because you don’t want them to know you’re interviewing.
