As a musician, definitely Whiplash. The Shawshank Redemption is an obvious one.

Havent seen whiplash - but Shawshank was a great movie!

Billions (TV Show) was great too.

Apparently Succession is good too, but I havent seen that yet.

Band of Brothers. only complaint is it doesnt portray how young those dudes actually were. LT Winters was like 26/27. lipton was 24. hits me in the feels everytime

That was an amazing series! Did you watch The Pacific too? That was worth watching, but not as good.

Spartacus TV Show was amazing.
300 (both the first and second) - I cant believe I forgot this one.
Saving Private Ryan was mad too, havent seen that in a while though.
Black Hawk Down was good too

The pacific was good. Another good one was Warrior with Tom Hardy if you like fighting movies. A personal favorite is Scent of a Woman
