I saw yesterday that DeSantis will be entering the race in May. Hopefully as a candidate DeSantis will begin to better. Trump does have a lot of sympathy for the prosecutions going on now, and more coming soon.

"The blueprint to beat Biden is Ron DeSantis — not another 4 years of Trump"

https://nypost.com/2023/04/26/the-bl...ears-of-trump/

excerpt:

One day after he announced he was running for a second term, our cognitively challenged commander in chief was spotted clutching a cheat sheet with the exact wording of a question he was about to be asked at a press conference.

It’s bad enough that the Los Angeles Times agreed to submit questions in advance and collude in this Emperor’s New Clothes-style defrauding of the American voter, but Joe Biden can’t even get it together enough to hide the cheat sheets.

Honestly, if Republicans can’t figure out how to beat this corrupt, divisive, addled, old man, who has wrought so much damage in half a term, then what use are they?

Biden’s prerecorded announcement Tuesday that he wants to “finish the job” at 82 should be God’s gift to his political opponents, especially when his cackling backup is a vice president whose every public utterance seems to be written by Cheech & Chong.

Debate, no question
Instead, we have Donald Trump aping Biden and threatening not to debate his fellow GOP candidates in the scheduled primary jousts starting August in Milwaukee.

This is how Republican voters get to assess the merits of various candidates and decide who has the best chance to win a general election.

It’s a crucial part of the vetting process, and it would be a betrayal of voters to bypass it.

“When you’re leading by seemingly insurmountable numbers . . . why subject yourself to being libeled and abused?” Trump announced on Truth Social.

You can only hope that he’s teasing. Otherwise, the obvious conclusion is that he is running scared from Ron DeSantis. ....

GOAT president? The ONLY president to lose jobs during his term. Added the most to the debt per year by a massive amount. Horrible GDP record.

Cot damn you MAGAtards are beyond stupid.

btw MAGAtards, the country doesn't want Trump or Biden to run by bigly numbers. However, of those who don't want either to run, 55% poll they'll vote Biden and 15% say they'll vote Trump.

DeSantis is finished. Another poll released this morning by Emerson shows him down to 16%. That’s his lowest number since pre-Midterms.

The head to heads against Biden also found Trump down by 2 points but DeSantis is now performing worse down 6 points against Biden. So much for muh electability.

And of course Trump continues to surge. That’s a 46 point lead. Absolutely brooooootal numbers for Meatball Ron.

Teflon Don.

You guys realize that polling in the 20-30% range is pretty damn good for a guy who isn't even in the race yet right?

Granted he'll still lose considering that the moron crew will come out in droves to Blumpf thanks to the indictment. That was a masterful move by the Democrats.

But, if DeSantis winds up running, it'll be competitive.

DeSantis will probably continue to be in the 20-25% range up until he announces, though.

Yeah when the media starts really going after him he'll drop under 20 for sure

Doubtful. Polling in the 20%'s against a former president without even being an official candidate is pretty damn good. After he announces he'll likely stay in the 20-30's. He's not beating Blumpf but it would be a competitive primary.

Lol.

You are not really admitting it though dummy.

You are trying to frame the indictment as a win for Trump as if this indictment saved Trump from the scary Ron Desantis lol, you know DeSantis was never a threat and this indictment actually opens the door to him entering the race.

Desantis was absolutely a threat. Unless you don't believe the polls prior to indictment but believe the post-indictment polls for some reason? Blumpf knew it too. Look at all his unhinged truth social posts. He attacks DeSantis harder than he ever attacked Brandon.

Pre-indictment I would still favor Blumpf because there would be more candidates than just him and Desantis. But it would have been a lot closer.

Don't worry, your precious is going to win. Just because someone doesn't agree that he'll get 100% of the vote doesn't mean you have to get so offended lmao.
