Sure, but that's a whole different conversation.

My point was he can have a low number of TD passes and still effectively win games w/o it being totally due to his defense. The way he plays allows for a lot of ball control, eating up the clock, etc. That will lead to a lot of 7 to 10 point victories, but won't look like the greatest show on turf by any means........

Conditional second, if he plays more than 65% of the snaps in 2023 it turns into a 1st round pick. Jets got hosed imo. They became desperate to get the deal done

That's a lot to give up for a aging guy that very well might play 1 year and retire. Dude was average last year. In before the thumb and young QB's held him back. They should have went after Lamar.

The price was high. I would have been comfortable giving maybe a 3rd next year.

Jets have a Super Bowl calibre defense though. Nice pieces on offense. They going all in.

I'm indifferent on Stroud but there is alot of truth to the idea that OSU QBs are a tough evaluation because their system and players around them are so elite.

I'll give Stroud the benefit of the doubt because right now there are a ton of made up narratives to get teams to pass on certain players, like somehow Hendon Hooker is going to be drafted top 20, top 15 but is still recovering from an ACL injury? Makes no sense

LOL, Fields has a QB rating of 79 through 25 starts. I get his team is awful, but c'mon.........24 TD passes to 21 Ints thus far.

Probably an intentional leak from his camp, but there was a Dr. report that came out yesterday saying that Hooker will be full-go by Week 1.......

I thought Hooker was the NFL QB in college last year, better than Caleb Williams. Two big negatives though are a. his age b. his ACL. It sounds like his ACL is fine and he'll be back pretty quick.

I didn't see that... well that could change everything tbh, but the offense that Tennessee runs apparently the ball boy could run it if he has half a brain but thats just what I read I don't watch a ton of Tennessee football

Dont think they can afford to pay Dhop because he wants a reworked contract too ontop as well. And not sure how many teams are giving up a 1st and 2nd round picks for a WR who is 30. If he was 25? No questions asked

I can see him fetching a 2nd tho but both? Seems steep imo

edit: Reading the titans are in the running for Dhop and apparently the 3rd overall pick? Has to be an absolute dump truck of a haul the Titans are sending
