The law increases penalties for hate-based vandalism and criminalizes projections onto buildings without the owner’s permission, like one spotted scrolling on the outside of TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville during a college football game back in October.

The law also categorizes flyers, like anti-Jewish pamphlets thrown on driveways and front lawns across the Sunshine State, as litter, making it a crime.

“If you want to walk down the street with a sign that says, ‘Put Randy Fine in the ovens,’ you can do that. It’s not against the law; it’s America,” said Fine, “but you can’t litter, you can’t graffiti, you can’t prevent someone from going to synagogue. You can’t do these things.”
The bill is unnecessary though, I think.

It's redundant. There are already laws against this. This is pure theater and nonsense.

I'm confident the Conservative outrage is purely on the infringement of 1st amendment rights pertaining to prior restraint, and nothing to do with hating Jews. I look forward to seeing their proposed solution to preserve free speech while also reducing bigotry and hate-related crimes.

He does so well on many policies, but hes flat wrong on this one. Jews should receive all the same protections as white men- that would be zero. Only those in power can suppress others from taking their power away, so why would jews need protection if they arent already in power?

The idea is it's a real person who will suffer as a result of your hate. Real jews who had nothing to do with anything were exterminated.
