Besides the injuries it's finally time to blow up this core like Flyers did with Jeff Carter and Mike Richards.

Wheeler isn't the same player anymore, and has lost his speed significantly, and he's on 8 mill a year...Dubois is about to be a RFA soon I don't see him wanting to stay in Winnipeg long term.

Which leaves Scheifele, Connor, Ehlers, Morrisey, and Helle as the core. Still not too bad, but Jets badly need another top defenseman.
