Whats up with these crappy foam shoes that last a couple months max???

In my day shoes had rubber soles and the shoe itself would be in shreds before the sole ever wore out. Now every shoe is “cloud foam” or “memory foam” or “comfort foam” or some other foam like its a good feature lol! Its absolute chinese garbage that wears out in just a couple months. And worse once the shoes are worn smooth they get super slippery. I almost fell down and broke my crown on some wet floors and roads in these damn shoes I just got a couple months ago. Bring back real shoes.

no offense but you are in the "disposable shoe" category at $50-$70 range.
All of the quality 1st tier shoes are at 100+, so what you are experiencing is expected at that price point unless you catch a sale.

The top half of the page is the stuff that will not compress quickly.

I literally went through 4 pairs of alphaflys under warranty. While on vacation in greece some bish stepped on the heel and ripped off the foam glue on the heel. Nike quality is sh!t.

Once you upgrade to foam tho all the other shoes feel like hard bricks.

100% agree with op. Had to return 2 sets of shoes because they had foam colored at bottom as opposed to a longer lasting rubber (I buy online since the bricks and mortars dont stock anything good around here).

Also refuse to buy the thong shoes. Like converse, etc where they literally put a flat levelled soul/bottom on the shoe surrounded by liner. A good shoe imo has to have arch support and not completely flat. thats lazy arse design
