My 82" is about 15 feet from the back of the wrap around couch, I've definitely sat 4 feet away where you can see you controller in the pic I posted when gaming.

The lighting band around the perimeter of the wall was a huge game changer, indirect light over the tv helps reduce the glare at night, would recommend/10.

The TV there is a 55" LG 4K for now. A 65" would really complete it, but it was unnecessary at the time. The couch is about 8ft away so it's a comfortable enough distance that I can see everything I need to while also not burning my eyes up. It's pretty cozy down there, once I get the PS5 it'll be solid.

Had no idea that was yours. I just thought the thread turned into meme pics, half the posters were posting them. I saw the setup with like 12 RGB lights on each machine and one had a random doll inside it and thought it looked like someone high on acid designed it.

I have a bad memory of that one anyway. there is a chase scene where Mob Rules was playing and one guy called me a liar when he asked who was singing it. I said it is Sabbath. He argued for me 5 minutes tops that it wasn’t Black Sabbath. Then he called me an idiot. So I put him in a chokehold and I squeezed until he was gasping for air. His friends came over to break it up but I was pissed and started swinging as wildly as a teenager on 3 sugar cubes of acid could. Then they beat me down pretty bad but physically I couldn’t feel any of it. I Swear on me mums mate they’d a true story. A bad trip.

Boiled down and drank and raw on pizza. Yeah one of those memories a cow chased after me while I was shrooming because I tipped it on its side she chased me away and I had no choice but to exit out of the opposite direction of where I entered at. I stuck my thumb out and got a ride from an old lady back to my car.

That setup you posted was the equivalent of spinners on your car or a bunch of speakers all over the back seat of a chit mobile. Does everything need to be lit up like a redneck's idea of a spacecraft so you can signal to other nerds you have a cool pc? Why do you think i care what you think? some people like my setup, some don't. Then nice thing about rgb lights, you can simply turn them off. I turn the regular lights off and take pics with the rgb maxxed out on purpose lol, it's a pretty normal environment during the day or with the regular lights on. I don't sit there and game in a rainbow disco 24/7, it's distracting.

Yeah Herman miller chair is on my list of things to buy but I bought ski stuff all winter and a new riding lawn mower and turntable so far this month so it keeps getting pushed off.

If I just buy a quick chair from Office Depot I won’t end up buying what I want.

I can't recommend an HM chair enough. It's God tier. Def save if that's your goal, so worth it.
