Has the covid vax been linked to hypertension?

In young athletic active males with no history of it. Since getting the vax I've had no major changes in my lifestyle, and I'm probably eating better and working out more. But both times I got my blood pressure tested this week it has been high...
Tried to google it but there's not much

yeah I didn't want to get it, but I was forced to. As soon as I got the vax I started drinking as much alcohol as possible to render it useless.

No

Hypertension is really common, totally normal with aging, even if athletic. Family history/genetics play a role too.

It's worth controlling if you want to increase your chance of living longer.

Hypertension/atherosclerosis/dyslipidemia are really common today, probably due to a combination diet and genetics. I know the covid vaccine is the hot topic and gets the blame for everything, but there's a serious problem in America with cardiovascular disease despite it been normalized to some degree. It's worth reading up on and trying to prevent. Sorry about your friends.

Didn't John Campbell, that nurse dr. guy on YouTube that goes over everything covid related say he filed a vaccine side effect report in himself over getting hypertension after the shot? Pretty sure it's a known effect that insures the shot is working.

I didn't have any BP effects from the vaccine, but when I got the omicron whatever type like a year or so later, my blood pressure shot up to like 175 over 110. I went to the doc for a covid note and they took my BP a few times, and were like "uh.. might wanna do something about this."

had regular BP before that. Took months to somewhat creep down but I'm still prehypertensive/stage 1 despite living a healthy lifestyle with cardio and such.
