damn. I saw them deduct the payment yesterday for an order I made and I just brushed it off thinking they were taking money I owed them

Then it happened again today for a another order I made and that was the last straw. Elon, you’re finished m8

I'm surprised it took them this long to do it. Wasn't paypal always based on taking a % of the sales cut just like credit cards charge companies for letting customers use them? Doesn't surprise me they want to implement more fees onto the consumer after people have spent literal decades getting used to using it with very few other viable options like it to turn towards instead.

It's not required on ebay anymore, the only reason I ever used them. They're bigger than eBay but they def took a hit when they split.

I thought it was never free? I used to sell a lot on Ebay and other communities and paypal always took a cut. Sometimes as sellers we'd charge a slight markup as 'handling' fees to cover the paypal fees lol. I know they've parted ways with ebay now. I recently sold something on ebay for the first time in many years and the process is so different. Never selling on ebay again srs.

For me and my recent experience selling on Ebay after years of dormancy, they 'held' my payment until the buyer confirmed it was received. So, I had to ship a really expensive item without getting the payment first hoping he wouldn't assrape me.

My thoughts exactly, but I was told that apparently I wasn't a 'trusted' seller or whatever because of my dormancy all these years, and that I'd need to somehow prove across a few sales that I'm trustworthy. Never again, boyo.
