Plenty of people just in the last few weeks are warning that we are approaching the singularity. Will the smarter than humans AI kill us all? Or will humans merge with machines [transhumanism]? Simulation theory does make increasing sense the more I ponder it. Our own creation of AI coupled with other microverses (think Sims games, Age of Empires, etc) leads me to believe other species would create AI and microverses, and that perhaps we are one of them.
