The progressive movement isn't about the movements themselves, but about the success of the movements.

The "clown world" is really the first time the LGBT+ community has been able to live their lives freely without oppression or violent repression. While there have been movements in the past (most famously Weimar Germany in the 1920s), none have succeeded.

A lot of conservatives are not going to like this change. They are going to struggle with it - like you are. But you will get used to it and understand it.

So answer this. Lets say you meet someone and they are just an obnoxious attention whore that is in everyone's business and thinks they are special, but you learn that they are gay. Is the appropriate action is to basically ignore those tendencies/tereotypes because they are associated with their sexuality?

A lot of people get rejected because of their character and other behavior. Is being gay mean you should instantly like them? "Oh I see, (he's gay/she's lesbain/they are an it) then that's different, that's awesome, not annoying!" Not even once.

Always find it funny how liberals think "if we can only change human nature, our plans will work". Fact is their ideas don't work in any living creature on earth.

Spot fuking on! That's one of the worst aspects of the whole "progressive" thing is how much they insist on denying the unsavory aspects of human nature, and think they've figured out something better in last few years or decades and can override/ignore the 10s of thousands of years + of evolution of the human brain/nature/psyche (which has many unsavory aspects that aren't conducive to a stable society if they aren't kept in check).

Things like hedonism, promiscuity/degeneracy, sloth, greed, thievery, etc. come from things that would have served as survival mechanisms throughout most of human (pre civilization more specifically) history. We no longer live in that environment, and if you want a stable society those things need to be kept in check. A vast majority of people don't give a fuk about you or anyone else. They don't care who you sleep with, or how you live your life. They really don't. It's not because they are banging the same sex or that they live their lives as the other sex, it's how they interject themselves on others.
