The Phoenix Police Department announced they have made an arrest in connection with the death of a 29-year-old female hiker who was found dead on a community hiking trail in a desert area over the weekend.

At a news conference on Thursday, May 4, deputies announced the suspect's arrest and described him as a man in his early 20s, but did not release the person's exact identity. The Phoenix police previously shared a blurry image of the suspect after 29-year-old Lauren Heike was found dead on Saturday, April 29.

yikes! I was alone on a trail the other day, and I saw some guy talking to himself waving his hands around. I was glad I was on my bike. Humans are scary. I wonder if seeing a bear would be as scary as seeing a lone man.

I'm at the point where I want to know how any adult who is victims of violence crime/theft/etc. at the hands of crimimal thugs vote before I decide how much empathy I have for them.

No one said she "deserved to die" if she votes for Democrat politicians (who love crime and criminals in 2023 and have so for years now). The point was that if she was a Dem voter (which statistics would say there's about a 90%+ chance she probably did as a college aged zoomer woman), it gets harder to feel sorry for her.

Which is a reasonable thing to say. How bad do you feel for a grown adult (with no disabilities or anything) who knowingly chooses to try petting a lion or tiger through a cage when they get their hand bit off? Same idea. Yeah ya feel bad for them, but you also have much more limited sympathy than if say, someone forced their hand into the cage instead. Same kinda idea. Pull your head out of your assss, stop thinking based purely on emotion, and stop putting words into peoples' mouths.
