Well, add me to the list of vampire survivor victims

What a silly addicting game

Bought it way long ago and tried to boot it but it was broken so I forgot about it

Turned out the game doesn't like high quality audio and froze bc my audio bitrate was too high. Audiophiles beware, drop your sound quality.

Is the guy who gets double projectiles the goat?

Runs flawlessly on Gamepass.

I didn't like the game. Completely grinding out a progression-based system instead of having any skill wasn't really my thing.

Such is life if you want high quality audio. I've had a few games that require me to drop the audio quality down, it's more of an audiophile thing then a PC gaming thing. Standard windows audio wouldn't have any issues. Some games and programs don't mesh well with a high bitrate sound card.

Playing on pretty low end pc- it was indeed surprisingly addicting

Getting to the end and fkn grim reaper showing up is satisfying af, the later power ups are hhnggg and chests when you get like 8 prizes give you a dopamine rush similar to *******, this is what candy crush aunts must feel like when playing

I just played this game today on my Steam Deck for a while actually, still not sure what all the fuss is about. I got a few twin stick shooters that I like more.

I think the appeal is how simple and mindless it is to play. You literally need to do nothing besides move your character around. You can essentially auto-pilot the thing while listening to a podcast or something.

Same, it's my go-to

Also falling in love with the Freeze lance (clock lancet?). Just found out the other day you can walk thru the enemies you freeze.

Yes, having the option of poverty sound or good sound is worse than just straight poverty sound on consoles.
