However, if a neutral spine is preserved throughout the lift this effect is minimal. In other words, to obtain the maximal effect from a belt, the lifter must lift poorly and in a way that exposed the back to a much higher risk of injury!

Nah, Tom Holland is a wuss. And Tobey Maguire was an absolute doomer.

Andrew Garfield was the best, unfortunately though his movies were the worst. If they swapped Garfield to play in Maguire's movies it would be the best combo.

The Tobey Maguire movies were the only ones to get the character right. The entire point is that if he stops being Spider-man he can have everything be wants, Mary-Jane, be scientist, not have to murder James Franco's dad, etc. But he took his Uncle's advice way too literally, so he has to be Spider-man.

There are pretty much no real consequences for Billy Elliot as Spider-man.

Hilariously, Tobey Maguire's agent convinced him to pull a power play after the first movie. They tried to shake down the studio like "wouldn't it be a bad thing if Tobey ****ed up his back in that horse movie and couldn't be Spider-man, maybe more money would ensure that won't happen", then the studio laughed at him and told him that he and Jake Gyllenhaal were the same person, so they would just cast him instead. Tobey Maguire had to take a pay cut.

Ultimately, super hero movies are for kids so it doesn't really matter. I don't watch them. They might as well cast Spiderman as Ryder or Jar Jar Binks. Go watch a real film like Austin Powers 2.

Came in to bring up height. Canon Spider-Man from the comics is 5'10 170 lbs. Garfield fits the bill - meanwhile Holland and Maguire were 5'6 and 5'7 respectively. Height doesn't matter though because Wolverine in the comics is 5'3 and Jackman is 6'3 lol. His manlet status is supposed to be a defining trait / characteristic / personality changer.

Anyways, Maguire is the real Spider-Man to me but only because I remember being a kid and going to the theaters for those three movies. Warm and fuzzies come from his movies - and the technological development of the setting/world itself is as close to the comics as it can get. Meanwhile the Garfield and Holland movies are too "modern" / futuristic.

I feel like Garfield is too much of a chad to be a Spider-Man though tbh. He's supposed to be a bit of a dork / beta. Holland has the "cool guy acting awkward but I'm short" thing going. Maguire is closer in scope IMO.
