why would you ask a known pathological liar to elaborate?

You still haven't explained why you just didn't simply ask the guy? Was this thread even necessary?

Because there are sides to every story and it's the proper thing to do before you make accusations. It could have settled it without the need for this strange thread. In addition, there are a thousand worthless and bullchit accusations thrown around here every single day. Accusations on here aren't worth chit.

Just ask the guy, and if he then makes an explanation which still doesn't make sense, maybe you'll have something. I still don't even see what the discrepancy is now.

Many of these crimes are committed by youth. Free community college progs could help a lot.

In extreme cases, you could use stand your ground laws and allow shopkeepers to use force to defend property, but the cost to society probably isn't worth it.
In the last 3 years we just witnessed the greatest rise in shoplifting rates at the same time when the greatest amount of social support was pushed down to the working, and lower classes.

For many, the largest amount of money they have ever seen in their life.

What you are suggesting is simply more demand side inflation - resulting in what we just witnessed.

College students have excessive amount of discretionary money left over with excess loan money- and in many states, tuition is currently free as long as you have a B average.

The education cost dilemma is a back end problem- after they've grown up and have pay the debt - during school right now they are all ballers.

Heck, my sons roomate got both covid weekly money, and student loan excess, bought and brand new Tesla cash.....

Australia had a unique struggle - a culture problem as well.....

Perhaps this is what brought Bodhy to crime? Idk

If it's a lie, there won't be the possibility of a sensible elaboration. But there are interpretations of the words in the OP which make sense. I've given one myself off the top of my head. But I don't know nor do you since you didn't even bother to simply ask the guy.

That's the point. The fact the guy wasn't just casually asked first suggests this is meant to just bully or piss on someone. Which is cringe, and I'll just restate that you could have asked him and left it at that. Not a big deal at all.

But the social support didn't keep up with inflation. Real wages went down substantially. I meant community college programs. The types of people who commit these thefts aren't usually A students lmao. We need better tradie ed programs to help them. Otherwise, they choose the thug life and tour is over.

Basically, as I see it, there are essentially 4 bins of people:

1) Angels/Goodie 2 shoes. These people won't steal under any circumstances, and will generally go out of their way not to steal even if they can easily do so.

2) Normies. These people will usually not steal, but might if they feel prices are just too high or they can't make ends meet. They may steal wants but not needs. These are the dudes you see stealing diapers, produce, etc at the self checkout. They know it's wrong and would ordinarily not do it, but the benefits outweigh the costs. They probably feel guilty about it. Social support helps these folks and makes them less likely to steal.

3) Self centered people. These are the hustlers and go getters. They may or may not have criminal records. These are a mix of good and bad people. They generally are looking out for themselves. They will steal whatever they can get away with. Give them an opening, and they'll go for it because why not? These guys steal luxury goods, expensive items, and may pawn things on the black market. They normally don't feel guilty, but wouldn't steal if the cost outweighed the benefits. Harsh deterrence stops these folks.

4) Scum. These guys will try to steal no matter what. They could still be otherwise decent people (kleptos) or just straight gangbangers who do this constantly. No amount of realistic deterrence or support will stop these people. You have to catch them and lock them up after the fact.

IMO, #s 2 and 3 have grown substantially as a result of real wage decline and poor enforcement. People also can slide along. You'll have someone start at 2, usually as a teen. And if they continue, they end up in 3 or even 4.

In a functional society, most people find the cost to steal outweighs the benefits. Currently, that is not the case in America in many circumstances.

Also, and this one is HYUGE, we need to END EARLY RELEASE for middle and high school kids. It's bullchit. Kids who aren't in school are a menace. They need to keep their asses in the classroom. I'd even go so far as to lengthen school hours just to keep these kids away from stores.

Social support didn't keep up with inflation because social support created more inflation - what you are suggesting creates a spiral- and we just witness that spiral happen after the greatest amount of social support possible.

And A student do indeed steal, on an accelerating basis

And they have 0 reason to in terms of need, it's a culture creation....

Heck in Georgia, the full tuition is now down to 3.0 gpa....

These kids then max their loans, take them as refunds into their accounts and become non-working ballers - and still shoplift / because it's become a culture....

There are others groups as you stated bellow, I'll expand on that in a bit

In terms of student culture problem - take bodhy for example

Plenty of reasonable earnings....

Equates to around what a 75k wagecel would earn in a week, which isn't bad at all for studying and not working full time.

Don't leave out the "entitled" people - trained by media that they are righteously owed everything from anyone or anybody- generating the thought of what they're doing isn't theft , but reparations or wealth spread .

Corporate support created more inflation. Those loans that were forgiven were way worse than a $1200 check bro. Again, full college is not going to work. You need skilled trade programs. These guys don't cut it in college. The regular thieves could be tradies though.

Consumer demand did -

A large amount of them forgiven loans were actually for sole proprietors- I.e lawn guy, etc

How do you explain situations like Bodhy's above - 75k a year and still doing it - in addition to the above articles on the universities publishing "shoplifting how to" for these entitled students - creating a culture

Probably, but those thieves still contributed somewhat to gdp, and a lot worked so now u just have a bunch of armless dudes. Also, thieves wanting to keep their arms would then have to escalate to murder lol.

Hard disagree. Consumer demand shot up after lockdowns largely ended and we exited the covid period, and that does contribute to the inflation, but the main thing was the change in money supply in the form of handouts to large companies.

Bodhy is probably category 2 or 3 in my description. The benefit outweighed the cost for him.

It's really worth mentioning there is deliberately ommitted information here and reframing to create a boogeyman to cry about. Here is the real situation as I described:

But I paid more than enough back in charities to the store to compensate for that.
So when we get the real story, we see that I was in an urgent rush, and despite I made every effort to do things the proper way but I had somewhere I absolutely needed to be, but I needed those things too. So I took them with my other paid for items.

But the kicker is the fact I came back to the store and donated more, muchmore, than the value of what I took. In Commonwealth law, which applies where I am, theft is taking property with theintentionofpermanentlydepriving someone of the value of what you took.

By the letter of the law, I don't fall under that stipulation.

I've also claimed it's hypocritical and fake as fuk to squeal over that and say nothing of Trump's grifting of hundreds of millions via fake university and his election fraud BS, and that gets ignored too. Hypocrisy is a feature, not a bug, for them.
Back off, Warchild.

1. How is intentionally mislabeling macadamia nuts for item at a lower price match with "I made every effort to do things the proper way but I had somewhere I absolutely needed to be, but I needed those things too"

Or "but I always, always,
flog those plastic bags they charge 15c for.
Never pay for them."

2. Did you return funds directly to the entity you stole them from? Or (allegedly) donate funds to a another entity?

Ok, guys, at this point, step back and think about this:

a) We are arguing with a mentally ill pathological liar (Fraudhy) who claims to be in a doctoral program when he never even received an undergraduate degree or set foot in a university, made up a complete several month long fantasy relationship with trashy single mom who he found a picture of online, has shoplifted multiple times, has created a fantasy about being a muay thai fighter and club bouncer, pretends to read books, etc. Has at least one other alt (Logical Lifts) that he attempted to use in a badly thought out game of deception regarding transcripts from the fantasy program he is in at the university that he found that didn't have bio pages so as to be able to play it off. He has been caught plagiarizing and just flat out lying repeatedly. He is notorious for rampant fa'ag sex with dudes in wigs and for having a sick obsession with feces (he smears it on himself and walls).

b) We are arguing with a mentally ill 40 year old virgin (Wincel) who has hundreds of alts by now and often has pretend discussions/arguments with himself in threads using 3-5 of those alts. He lives at his parent's home not because he is saving money while working or going to school, but because he refuses to work or go to school. He also lies about education, once in a while claiming to have received a PhD, or have been a tutor (he helped a couple fifteen year olds with trig on quora or stack once and that somehow became he was a professional math tutor). He, like Fraudhy, barely graduated HS at best. He has been caught plagiarizing so much that he dropped even attempting it a couple of years ago and now just blatantly posts directly from google without even trying to hide that he is copy and pasting (if he even attempts that anymore, because he seems to have dropped any pretense at being educated, finally, other than the occasional meltdown insult he makes). He has a bizarre obsession with Nazis to the point of insanity.

c) Fraudhy tears apart Wincel behind his back and Wincel defends him and adores him still. In fact he directs his anger not at Fraudhy but at other miscers, including myself. These two are really clowns and when you step back and think about it it does make one LOL (I know because I just did this morning when I went through the R&P threads like this one). We are dealing with two very deranged individuals but damn it is entertaining and it is what keeps me coming back to the misc even though I really want to leave LOL

Bodhy lies.

In other news, the sky is blue. I think everyone here knows by now how much of a lying pos he is. The funny part is how he thinks he's smart, yet continually gets exposed. Fkn loser.

Btw fellas, don't mind OP, the middle aged non-lifting fraud.

About a year ago I nailed him for being a middle-aged non- lifting fraud:https://forum.obnoxiousbrutes.com/showt...hp?t=181339423

A total loser whose entire life revolves around a bodybuilding forum even though he doesn't lift or bodybuild. I moved into his head rent-free that day.

The funniest thing is that even after such a brutal call out he hasn't addressed the situation by picking up a weight. He just waits until he thinks he's got some goss on me and makes a thread about it.
Back off, Warchild.

Seriously.

Attacking OP personally doesn't really address the contradictions he revealed in your story though does it.

Because calling out dooody for lying is both hilarious and alpha you beta cuck.
Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

Nope, there were several posters ITT who gave different accounts which are consistent and don't involve lying or contradiction. And yes, this cringefest of a thread could have been avoided if you had have simply asked me about this story rather than make a thread about it to play gossip girl like a prepubescent grade schooler.

Someone needs to check you and OP for pubeless vaginas, JFC.
