G&T Decide my next game to complete

Feel free to ask the forum for input on your own list ITT, we might get it rolling (again?)


I got a fairly long backlog and can't decide what to play, they all feel like a chore but whatever you pick I'll try my best to finish it this month. I've started but quit these.

Doom Eternal
Uncharted 4 (I might never finish it, hope you dont pick it)
Nier Automata
Shadow of War
MGSV
Horizon FW (rigged option)
Witcher 3 B&W

I'll pick game with the most mentions tomorrow at some point, no poll to encourage discussion.

Assuming you've played the rest of them, I'd just plow through Uncharted 4 to see what's likely the finale to the Nathan Drake story.

Wouldnt play UC4 unless the story from the previous 3 is still fresh in your mind else you won't remember who everyone is. Same applies to HFW. These games aren't for ADHD smoothbrains who can't follow a storyline involving more than 2 or 3 characters.
Doom Eternal is a solid choice for mindless fun

Nier Automata was a solid game.

MGSV if you played the rest. It was a great game until it became obvious it was unfinished.

Doom Eternal and Witcher 3 are great games.

Shadow of War and Uncharted 4 are decent, enjoyable but nothing amazing.

From what list Witcher 3 B&W easily ... One of the best DLC's ever made for one of the goatest games.

Doom Eternal didnt click with me ... I thought that Doom 2016 was far superior. Doom Eternal felt like they just tried to add too much to it and made it a bit complicated where it lost in the simplicity and fun of 2016.

UC4 is a must play, but it's a sony game, so it'll get hated on automatically and your mileage may vary.

Shadow of War is trash

MGSV is a good game if you look at it as an adventure game, but it'sthe worstmetal gear game.

Shadow of War I just found super repetitive. Same thing over and over again rinse and repeat until finished.

For mindless fun Doom Eternal for sure. If you want story driven Horizon.

Agree on most of those with the time I've played them, though not sure if SOW is that bad... only played a little of the beginning and it was odd, didn't know where you were suppose to go lol


Also just discovered W3 B&W PS5 update doesn't work with PS4 save files? that was BS, though seems like you can only start the DLC in a new file with some basic gear

I don't recommend playing HFW on PS5. Because then when you go to play every other game, they will just look like chit in comparison

Play the other games first and then go down by release date or age.
