Mine eventually went away after about 10-12 months. It sucks because people around you don't understand at all, but the good positive news is it will go away.
Things that can help:
1) Good solid diet avoid sugar and processed food as much as you can
2) Try to exercise even if you don't feel like it
3) Get a good sleep schedule
Number 3 is the most important, for the first 9 months I was living in a student flat on a very loud party Street and it was often loud or had parties next door or across the street.
It wasn't until I moved into my aunts house in a nice, quiet part of town for a few months that I recovered.

update guys.
I've developed Shingles at the age of 37 2 weeks ago.
Something is getting seriously wrong. My muscles are all deflated again.
I have to assume auto immune disease coming up ahead.

Might be worth doing a rheumatology/autoimmune panel, though, agree.

I just recently, finally tapered completely off pred and what youโre describing is exactly what Iโm going through: canโt get out of bed, no energy at all, no interest or excitement with anything..
The only things that have helped are limiting sugar intake to <50g and consuming a diet rich in Fat and Fermented foods, continuing to play Hockey and going for intermittent walks throughout the day especially if itโs sunny out.
I put together a gym in my basement and I have a full length mirror with great lighting on one of the walls. When Iโm feeling like chit about myself I force myself to go downstairs and get a quick workout in the good lighting and it really helps with staying motivated and positive.
Edit: forgot to mention, I actually got shingles on top of the UC and that **** is fuking brutalโฆ

Update Guys.
Autoimmune markers have come back clear. Don't know what to think of it really.
From what I've been told, it's the Spike Antigen reoccurring so I'm on NAC, with natto kinase + a whole bunch of vitamins.
If I get another flare up, I'll have to get another check up.
Heaps of people around me are starting to have similar symptoms.

Things like Bromelain & Quercitin. Do these act any different to the degradation of the S1 Spike antigen?

Havenโt lifted since february and no matter how many physios/doctors I go to, no one has been able to fix my damn shoulder.
All my mates are lifting and making progress meanwhile Iโm just losing gains, and fuk itโs depressing.
Hope you get through it srs. Sorry you gotta go through it.

Hey OP,
Iโve worked in clinics and used to encounter this regular. Aside from whatโs already in the thread in regards to diet, emotions ect itโs worth also looking into managing high levels of oxidation and cortisol within the blood. I donโt think there are many tests for this. Iโd suggest going to a nutritional therapist for a deeper perceptive on this.
In the mean time you also try Lipo****l glutathione. Similar to NAC but the will flood your body with more than your body would typically generate via NAC. Also Adaptors that can help clear cortisol such as ashwaganda powder, Gelatized maca and mushroom complexes. Maybe be a thyroid issue. You may also find massive benefits from sea kelp and nutritional yeast if that is the case.
Good luck working it out OP but stay at and you will find a cure from it away from drugs.
