Grandma threw away my sympathy card

Just went to visit my grandma with my parents a few weeks after my Pep Pep died, she’s still in mourning obviously so I thought she’d enjoy hearing my thoughts on the meaning of life and how she should live now that she’s alone.

Well as I was going to throw away a seltzer water I caught a glimpse of something and realized it was a card, it was the sympathy card I mailed her a couple weeks ago. It was in the trash.

I quickly looked over to all the other cards which were still up and next to the flowers and pictures of my Peppy. But my card was in the trash. What’s worse is she didn’t even seem interested in my advice about how she can become a new person and start over by completely changing up her routine and doing everything differently.

Then I told my mom and dad I’d call them later and they said “we’re busy later but have a good week”so here I am now telling you about it

I was gonna say how long are you meant to keep cards for? I usually throw any card i get out withinna week or 2

But the fact she still had all the other cards up, lol thats pretty fckd up
