She comes every 2 weeks, 2.5h - 3h. Vacuums, washes floor (once per month), cleans all kitchen appliances, removes grease from oven and stove, cleans bathroom.

Come home from work and the place is spotless smelling like flowers and stuff - for 80 USD every two weeks.

I have two ladies from Ecuador who clean my place. Only complaint is they take all my kleenex and make flowers out of them. When you try to grab one you end up with like 20.

We have a maid service drop in every 2 weeks to clean our house...

100% the best way to get your wife / GF to keep the house clean is to hire a maid service..lolz.. they wouldnt dare let another person into their home to clean up until they have cleaned it themselves to make it appear as if they arent filthy.

Not gonna lie, I actually started having a housekeeping lady come over once every 2 weeks myself for the past few months myself. I had resisted forever because I hate dropping money on stuff that feels like I should be able to just do myself like cleaning.

The thing is, stuff catches up to you. After working full-time, dealing with having kids and the endless stuff they have going on, etc... stuff catches up to you, and it can get tough to keep up.

Meanwhile, this lady swings by a couple times a week and cleans out the entire place, upstairs and downstairs, 2 bathrooms, a few bedrooms, the kitchen, and two living rooms are spotless. For about a hundred bucks. It's so nice to get a fresh start every couple weeks like that without having to make myself do it during the rare free time I could use on things I actually enjoy doing.

You do have to make sure they're good at what they do, though. I've seen countless situations of people hiring cleaners to come by once a week or two, and their places look just as shiiiitty when the housekeeper leaves as when they arrived. Then the cycle repeats for months to years and they never realize they hired a lazy bastard who just farts around on their phone for a couple hours before bailing.

I'd be too scared she would steal small items/cash. Just small things I won't notice until one day I want something and it's gone. Not worth having a stranger in my house tbh. I just keep the place clean and don't live like a pig

Now that I'm married with four kids, a maid is a necessary. We have two women and three of there daughters come clean twice a month. They are machines and keep everything spotless. They work for me now and clean all of our buildings exclusively. She also brings me great Mexican food from time to time
