What’s the point of being able to fight if most carry a strap these days?

Anybody saying that someone is a coward for hiding behind their strap is verging on being anti 2nd amendment. As a hardcore lib I am very pro 2nd amendment, we just gotta do better on keeping em out the hands of the mentally ill (which already includes a handful of miscers here for example). Dudes have watched “Never Back Down” one too many times to know that there’s more straps than people here in the U.S.

These days are long gone...



Street fights now all too often involve kicking/stomping on downed opponents, weapons, people jumping in to help their buddy. Even if you "win" there is a chance the other guy will just track you down later.

In terms of street defense, the best skill to learn is something along the lines of Krav Maga; which includes weapon disarms, instant incapacitations, relevant chit which actually works.

First of all, anyone who is an mature, respectable person I won't be getting into a fight anyways, so we will resolve it otherwise. Anyone who is not, I'm probably not going to want to deal with them because they are mentally not all there and from that point on, who knows what you'll deal with. You go in to duke it out and next thing you know, they just pulled a weapon when you are in a bad position. Even if they don't, if you start to lose you might get curb stomped or beat to death. You're at a major disadvantage if you don't even start to go for your weapon until they already have theirs out and ready. Sorry, but I'm not going to plave FAFO because someone has a small brain. So basically, if I don't like you, I'm just going to have nothing to do with you and if you want to keep coming at me against my will, I'm going to do what I have to.

Everyone’s got personal pronouns. I only use em overtly because there’s people out there who identify as something other than male or female. Science being an ever-evolving discipline, confirms that gender is more of a spectrum and two genders is merely an oversimplification.
