I'd probably hang my head in shame if I was part of that group as well.

Its a shame, since most of them are probably good, cool people who just don't have the social skills to fit in or make friends that aren't just like them. This makes their life a bubble, where they all start to dress and look alike as well. Most of them will die as a virgin, except the best looking one or two that ends up getting with a female version of themselves.
