I have a PhD in CS, yeah. And I also have a master degree in engineering, which means by definition I DO have a lot of physics and chemistry background, at least as much as some of these fake ass pill pushers calling themselves doctor.

Also, I really do not understand your point. I can read a study and comprehend it better than 99% of the population, BY DEFINITION. That's what a PhD is, dumbass, literally writing, reading, comprehending, and evaluating research. I have evaluated papers for publication in areas I am certainly no expert (one that comes to mind immediately is high availability clustering) and can determine if the conclusions arrived at are valid from the data presented. That's the entire ****ing point. I don't need to be an MD or have a PhD in immunology to know you can't take a sample size of like 12 people and extrapolate that to billions without a hell of a lot more research than "trust me, bro". All this crap is based almost entirely on "trust me, bro, I'm from the government!" Literally the last people you should ever trust. Couple that with the incessant badgering and insults thrown whenever anyone dared to question problematic conclusions and you are going to get a massive amount of pushback from anyone who knows WTF they're doing. Further, my point about being in academia for 20 years is that I KNOW how this **** works. Publish or perish. Even in my own work I took over a project from some girl but during the process I literally could not verify her results. At all. I think she made them up. I redid everything and the paper was ultimately published using the verifiable results I found. It sucked ass having to redo two years worth of research, but I did it because I wasn't about to put my name on anything that I couldn't back up. The difference here though is that I was 100% entirely self-funded during graduate school. I took no grants, wasn't on the hook to some external entity for my money. If I was some H1B who had to publish a paper or get deported and the government was funding my stuff, I would have probably just left that data in the paper and crossed my fingers no one asked about it. Go one step further. I work directly for the government and they want research done and the conclusion must match up with the policy they want to push. Do you honestly think those "researchers" would have a job if they produced a ton of papers that undermined everything the government was trying to do? Look at what they did to any doctor that dared question the crap going on...threatening to revoke their licenses, throw them in prison, whatever. I could write a ****ing book about this, but Thomas Sowell sums it up best: "...third parties who pay no price for being wrong". The veracity of their research is irrelevant; it exists purely to promote an agenda.
