Not gonna overreact. They've had awful roads games before, losing by 27 in San Francisco for example. It doesn't matter if it's game 1 or 7. They know they have to steal one on the road at some point.

Adjustments have to be made. Deangelo Russell looks unplayable. Get some length and defense out there. Backcourt looks too small to bother Murray and Porter Jr.

Put Vanderbilt or Hachimura in the starting lineup.

Yeah this is what I’m seeing with Dlo. He can’t do anything defensively and he’s not shooting well. Id like to see more vando and Rui for sure

Denver can’t play this well the entire series. lakers can steal game 2

Wow... LeBron contributing NOTHING tonight. As the leader of the team AD needs to rip him a new one in the locker room after the game. After getting carried so often by other guys (Kyrie, Wade, Ray Allen) LeBitch has gotten used to coasting.

He had just 13 when I posted that. He's stat padding now that the game is over. He knew his stats would look bad. Even Westbrick would be ashamed.

AD has 31pts at the end of 3rd quarter and it still feels like he's getting thoroughly outplayed by Jokic.

The guy is just on another level. Best in the nba right now and should have been 3x mvp, if not for certain members of the media playing the race card and Embiid constant begging for the award.

Lakers got it to within 8. Joker flops and gets a couple whistles vs Reaves and Rui. Murray makes some crazy shots

This one is over but a silver lining for thr Lakers. It’s impossible for a Denver to keep this up for the entire series especially the shooting %s

I think LA can take game 2

Joker can score on AD and AD can score on Joker. The game is being played between these two bugs. Lebron still has had an incredibly efficient game

You’re an absolute retard

For the Lakers to have a chance in this series, their biggest advantage is going to have to come through for them... I'm talking about the refs, of course. The NBA will be pulling out all the stops to get the Lakers into the Finals. It's going to be Kings-Lakers 2002 all over again.

This post is confusing. You think Lakers Celtics isn’t the obvious outcome here? Lol

The Lakers are the inferior team, as we're seeing tonight. The NBA wants Lakers-Celtics. Refs will be doing everything possible to get that matchup.

It's already happening. LeBron fouls Murray and it gets called as Murray's fifth instead... Egregious.

This type of shooting by the Nuggets is not sustainable throughout the whole series. They shot over 50% from 3 in game 1 and Lakers still kept it fairly close.

Just like the Warriors, who shot lights out from 3pt in games 1 and 2, then come back down to earth in LA.

Overall, i'm encouraged by how much fight LA showed in the 2nd half, instead of mailing it in like they tend to do on the road. Expecting Ham to make the proper adjustments.

after this stretch theres no way lakers can cry about refs, it's been non-stop in the lakers favor, all of Denver in foul trouble now

I'm not blaming the refs if Denver loses, just saying that lakers fans cant use that excuse if they lose

lol lebron just blew the game with that ill-advised 3 miss and then getting stripped

Denver just stole the lakers cornbread!

and then after getting stripped, lebron just gives up and the lakers let Denver run the clock out, not even trying to foul quick

lechoke strikes again

fakers got sonned by Jokic

Anthony Davis has come up HUGE for the Lakers with 40 points... That has to be a win for the Lakers. It's on LeBron that they lose a game when AD balls out like that. The Lakers' leader did his part. AD needed his sidekick to step up... It didn't happen.

We shall see if the Lakers put Rui on Jokic next game and have AD roaming.

Encouraging loss for the LAL. Liked what I saw towards the end

Denver can't stay THIS hot. They were scorching earlier on

No, they didn't. Lakers and Nugget shot an almost identical percentage from three. Neither were above 50%.

Lebron, plz stop shooting late game 3s. Jamal Murray, with 5 fouls by the way, cannot guard you. I know he's ur buddy and all... but lower ur shoulders and run his ass over. thx

At the time of my post those were the numbers.

Still, they end up with 15 made 3pts on 47% shooting. They didn't even do that in any of the games vs Phoenix and Suns defense is horrid.

My point still stands, they won't be able to maintain that kind of production against the best defense in the playoffs.

It's game 1 , but still, it's fair to call out Lebron for his late game antics but haven't we seen this years before? Lebron is such a weird superstar. Dominant as fukk but also clumsy as fukk

Imagine talking about “stat padding” in the third quarter of an NBA playoff game lmao

Tell me you’re holding a shotgun to your mouth without telling me you’re holding a shotgun to your mouth.
All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.
