This is actually pretty awesome. I'm a level headed person, understand the way the world works and economics, I'm really a huge fan of Elon. I agree with some other posts, he's one of the most important people on earth with his capabilities and power he currently has.

Disagree, in fact, I'd say the data suggests you misunderstand this.

Yes, you're right that ultimately that's their responsibility, but take a look at his public companies (Tesla). It turns out that people love how he speaks his mind and how he operates companies. Tesla stock is wildly overvalued, and he's clearly the driving factor behind that. Even to this day, Tesla stock is worth more than any other auto manufacturer by a large, large margin.


People like who he is, plain and simple. The market doesn't lie.

Yeah - hard to argue this.

He single-handedly changed the entire automobile landscape forever.

He bought out one of the most important news amd media sources of the masses because he thought it was being used for evil and censoring people and violating the foundations of free speech.

He's a single man, and he and his companies have done more forsake space/rocket tech in the last 5 years than NASA has done in the last 20 years.

Starlink is leading the way in satellite technology and this single man's satellites provided military tech connections for Ukraine early on in the war... literally something probably no one country outside of US or China is capable of... and he did it with his side hussle company lmfao!!

He's legit a modern day Lex Luthor, but with no Superman to drive his paranoia amd ego to the point of being a villain. Most don't realize that a lot of who Lex was/is is rooted in good and a desire to help humanity.

the only shill-y thing he did was him pumping crypto and dumping it by tweets which was more hilarious if anything. you could argue tesla is also one but he's just running a business with a market for it. anyone with a brain knows ev's are far worser for the environment than fuel powered vehicles. him buying twitter has open up free speech on the internet which previously was severely restricted. he also exposed countless lies and liars. that alone makes him great

Actually man, I don't think you get it.

Concerning Tesla, the #1 reason people won't buy a Tesla who are in the market for an EV is Elon. Google it, was a survey done recently.
People DON"T like the guy.

I would argue Tesla has it's valuation because they are first to market and were able to manufacture at scale, but as other well established companies are able to it's P/E will shrink.
