I never understood why Mike Judge rebooted Bevis and Butthead two times. I mean the OG version was funny but it’s a 90s cultural piece that belongs in the 90s. King of the Hill is not only a superior work of art but it transcends generations. Hank Hill’s commentary would be just as important in 2023 as it was in 1997.

Bring back KOTH.

This is kind of where I'm at with Futurama.

I actually enjoyed the first run quite a bit. I remember watching it on Adult Swim late at night in high school and sometimes occasionally afterwards. I can't claim to be all that excited about a 3rd run, though.

I just looked up the wikipedia page on it. I never realized that Billy West voiced Fry, Professor Farnsworth, Zoidberg, Zapp Brannigan, and a few others. That dude is a damn good voice actor to have that kinda range, I mean hell that's half the voice acting of the whole show between those characters.

yeah the Fry + Leela romance thing was just awkward as fuk to watch. Then yes the later episodes where Fry got to face his mom (in a dream sequence). Those highly sentimental moments are good once in awhile but when they're regularly being shown especially when the audience doesn't really ask for them, it just makes me say fuggit and tune out.
