Once you start dipping that low in bodyfat I feel weekly refeeds are crucial for going the distance. Been doing it for decades and it works and keeps me sane. I normally do my refeed slightly above maintenance and it doesn't have to be clean. It's not enough to mess with your weekly deficit and it helps to keep things/leptin levels up and moving in the right direction. I get my protein in and eat whatever the fuk else I want LOL...

Refeeds can be brutal if you do it the wrong way. If your deficit is high, and just go above your usual maintenance for 1 day w a cheat meal or two. Its all going to fat just a little more glucose.
I see op looking shredded as fuu if he built up 2 days for a cheat day lowering deficit super clean. then going for like 350carbs, 100fat.

Sounds a lot like what I'm doing then. The hunger is unlike anything I've experienced before, even with my caloric intake remaining the same. I'm chalking it up to the fact that most of my body fat stores have been used up. Maybe I'm not technically correct, but it's uncomfortable consistently throughout the day. I've pushed through but was planning on stopping end of May anyways. Poster above mentioned the potential of getting into that shredded territory and this is the thought that keeps me wanting more. I know it's now right around the corner, much like this was right around the corner last year. What I've been doing in the past years is a cut like this, then a long extended maintenance break. I only put on 3-4 pounds this past June-Feb which allowed me to get even leaner this year.

Thanks again for all the input. This does feel like the culmination of a lot of years of hard work. Now I'm just working on the tan.

Strong seperation between forarm and bicep. You could dunk a chip in that bowl. Approaching 10% seems right. Back and legs tend to store more fat. Can you see your spinal erectors?

I find it difficult to check out my back properly or to even photograph it. I do have mirrors on my closet doors so I'm able to arrange them in such a way that I can pose and check but the lighting there is crap. But yes, sometimes I can see my erectors if I flex right.

Took some progress shots this morning after completing my heavy 7am push day training. I'm gonna update the OP to demonstrate what my current physique looks like with a pump going.

Thanks very much for your input!

Seems the consensus is somewhere around 12-13. I don't think I'll be able to hit the mythical 10% this time around, but I'll work hard to maintain this level of conditioning and perhaps make this a goal for myself next spring. I think a solid 12 week cut should get me there, although who knows. It's really starting to be uncomfortable/inconvenient and I'm wondering whether it's worth it to push myself so hard at this point.

Thanks, boyo.

Had my cheats today, just finished eating these little blueberry and strawberry cheese tarts along with some homemade pizza and fresh baked garlic/rosemary bread. Help my fuk. In a food coma as I type this.

At this lean it is really hard to tell.

You could be anywhere from 9-14 depending where you carry your fat and if you have had surgeries.

I would guess 11 ish.

I keep it simple and you're right you can't go nuts. When I'm dieting I use a 600 cal deficit and throw in 1 refeed a week at maintenance. I don't have to adjust/mess around with calories and I use it from start to finish.

This sounds like a good approach and is actually very close to what I do. I always allow myself an 'off' day on Friday. It really keeps me sane and allows me to look forward to something, acting as a reward of sorts. I do like to cook interesting stuff so it provides me with that outlet. My wife also surprised me with some artisanal breads and tarts when she got home yesterday so that was really nice as well.

I've been so hungry during this cut cycle that I've actually bitten my fingers while eating. 100% srs.
