Well, I can see the clown world going in this direction. Baba Masaba had more than 100 wives and his children were dying from hunger. He was relying on them to do all the work, raise the kids and support him, like a great big parasite. So yeah, polygamy and the new age lazy male pretty much go hand in hand. they bring nothing to to the table.

I was in Tanzania earlier this year, and was talking to some of the old guys working my tour group. It's a Muslim country, and they are allowed to have as many wives as they want.

I asked them "how many wives do you have?" and they all responded, "1". I asked, "why don't you have like 6" and they said, "I don't even really want the 1".

No. I have 1 wife that I’m happy with. But 2 of them would still be too many.

If you dont have enough resources and energy for multiple wives, then its pointless. To keep one wife happy is too much of a task for 90% of modern men, so the idea of 2+ is just laughable lol.

Maybe for sport starts, CEO's of huge international companies, actors, owners of healthy and big businesses etc. In fact im sure well be seeing that sort of thing in about 10 years as relatively normal (srs)

Most women work/want to work, that reduces the amount of expenses and time you'd need to spend with her if she was a NEETcel

If you and the women didn't grow up in a culture where that is common and accepted, it just seems like a recipe for awkwardness, jealousy, etc., that results in you being miserable a lot of the time trying to manage all of that. Having a couple female friends who don't get along is bad enough. Being married to both sounds like hell.

Sounds like double the chances of cheating and divorce, double the chances of pregnancy, double the drama, increased CoL, increased or double costs of holidays (another anniversary, birthday, valentine's, christmas), increased wedding/honeymoon/proposal costs...

I could afford it financially but it would obviously negatively impact my savings, and the risks make it stupid AF. Assuming they don't work, you'd probably want north of $200k/yr just to even consider it.

This is the key. It probably wouldn't be great but not impossible if having multiple wives was relatively normal in the place you and the women grew up. If you tried to do that with modern American women your life would be a living hell. Your life would be nothing but drama and chaos.

Sounds like I would have to put up with double the bitching and complaining. But, maybe with two they would turn the bitching and complaining on each other instead of focusing on me.

I think it only really works if the wives are related. How badly can they bitch at each other, how big of a bitch can they be to each other's kids, if they are sisters and knew each other before they met the man?

you have to be very high value, in terms of having enough resources, as well as the emotional stability and sanity in dealing with both your wives and keeping them satisfied. As well as both of them have to be cool with it and both of these women also have to be emotionally stable.

aka, probably not a stable arrangement except for 0.0000001% of the population.
