It was funny because Kurt Cobain was always the more popular frontman of Limp Bisquick due to all the weird costumes and face paint he'd be sporting. After they broke up and he founded Slipknot, things really began to take off for him. Sad he passed last year, but the music he created will never die.

I remember listening to a bunch of instrumentals of them a while back. Sounded a lot better without Fred Derp whining.

"were" or "are"

At the time, they were regarded highly. They sold out arenas, sold a ton of albums. When I was in school, I remember how they were considered cool by everyone in class

In the present-day, they get alot of hate because nu-metal, in general, isn't cool anymore

There’s are few good songs but gah damn they are so whack like, 98% of the time.

Even “Nookie” and “Break Stuff” are ridiculously stupid lyrically if you read them.

What’s their stupidest album title? Stampede of the Disco Elephants (makes no sense)? Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog flavored Water (makes no sense)? Three Dollar Bill, Yall$ (makes no cents)?

All trumped by the stupidest band name.

Don’t get me started on the album artwork. Pick an album. Did you forget 3$’s image on the disc was a “sad clown” chained to one of those wheels they threw knives at a broad on in bad movies?

Remember when Fred Durst told Ben Stiller “you’re my favorite mother****ker” on Significant Other?? BEN STILLER didn’t even think that was cool.

Remember when Fred referred to himself as “Tyler Durden” for an entire album cycle?

Remember when they had a gigantic toilet as their back line for an entire touring cycle?

Wes Borland can write a Bounce Riff better than anyone in the business though. Straight up.
Smooth Seas don't make Strong Sailors. Keep your head up.

They're still performing in filled out venues. They're not performing in clubs, or dive bars.

And how is Slipknot still selling out arenas?

Hated them. Would rather listen to EverClear, and I'm not even a fan of them
