You can't guarantee he would have maintained this wording in todays age but he was very traditional and religious (he was a minister). He was also very accepting of differences but he was smart and knew what society needed to function (family values etc.).

I think more conservative politicians should take his approach (and everyone in general). Very kind and caring but true to his values and he actually could back it up with data. His good friend was a child psychologist and helped develop the lessons in his shows. The man had an insanely long career with nothing but kindness and humility. He really was a top notch human.
