USA: Has there been any sports player that killed someone before?

Greetings, so I'm doing research on if any Black people can respect a White man that killed a Black person before. So has there been any White NBA/NFL etc that has killed a Black person, and the state's attorney has viewed it justified/self-defense etc, so either no arrest were made, or charges were dropped, and that player has continued to be famous in the sports? Or does his incident cause him to quit?

Tiger Woods just cheated on someone?

I'm from Chicago, and specialize in people killed by CPD, since 1970. Got over 750 documented cases. Here, we got cases where a White police officer, has killed multiple Black men, while married to.. a Black woman! Ain't that something lol.
