It is tough in fairness.

Several months/years back the TheAdlerian posted a good analogy for the problem. He was saying that, if you don’t like certain foods, e.g. bread, asparagus, watermelon, etc, you are not forced to eat them. You can go to any number of supermarkets and find an abundance of alternative food options, easily at that. But in terms of living, we don’t have anything close to that level of easily and readily available options; we’re all more or less forced into one way of living with little variation. I guess the popular term for it would be wage slaving. Sure, there are different types of jobs out there that provide a wage, but there’s still nowhere near as many options as compared with food choice, plus many of them are not especially accessible/achievable.

There's no doubt that BBMG's situation is more difficult than average, especially based on the analogy you shared.

What I personally take issue with is how OP will constantly rehash this discussion only to end up sticking with his own conclusions.

He's asking "What are incels supposed to do?" but what are WE supposed to do after we've rehashed this same discussion several times over and continue to reach the same conclusion?

It seems like he just wants to be "heard" rather than "helped" and most of us have heard enough from him.

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, his mental faculties are mobilised almost entirely defensively, which is at complete odds with openness and being open to experience.

His defensiveness needs to be lifted before any real change can come about, but good fukin’ luck with that. It’s something that even talented therapists struggle with.

I didnt choose to get laid off, but I did choose to go full on NEET and not bother anymore.

With that being said, your point is precisely why I believe trying to reason with him is a waste of time.

Addressing his mindset may not get him laid, but I think it would go a long way towards improving his overall happiness, srs.

Well to start, I did get some valuable advice from these incel forums.

Just last week someone brought up using Semaglutides to lose weight and women love dudes who look leaner. Just hopped on Semaglutides and my diet has drastically improved

Every once in a while someone comes in and gives real tangible advice, not the same "just be confident bro" bullcrap
