The crux of the conversation was Metroins saying that Ukraine must be defended by the US at all costs. I asked him does this mean he would sacrifice the lives of his children if push came to shove and the US and Russia ended up in a nuclear war over Ukraine. A purely hypothetical question to judge how much kool aid he was drinking in defense of Ukraine.

His answer was a resounding yes.
Tell us did you think Hamlin was dead and they were running an elebrate con in showing him alive? Did they use body doubles? Tell us boyo I'm all ears.

No idea what this means.

Did you see the part where I wrote 'purely hypothetical"?

Ok, how about you reply to that same post - without using what some random said on the internet. I’ll wait.

Why would DeSantis announce now when he is vulnerable?

DeSantis obviously thinks Trump is vulnerable, he is betting political indictments will give him the R nomination, he knows he can't beat Trump straight up.

Elon is similar to Trump in a lot of ways and this is why he can't support him, they both want to be the center of attention, Musk sees Trump as competition but Musk can't compete straight up either.

I "need" to. Who the **** do you think you are?

I'm not chatting with some stranger on the internet and sharing personal details to prove to some other random dickholes on the internet that I went through 3 1/2 years of school and passed a test. Get that through your head.

That’s different, my apologies. I doubt I can offer much advice, other than don’t go straight from undergrad to law school. Best if he can be a paralegal somewhere for a year or two and understand what he’s getting into. It will also make the first year of law school SO much easier, and I can’t stress enough how much the 1L grades matter - like for your entire legal career sometimes.

They already started the talks about desantis being a nazi and such two years ago. It's not going to stop regardless so why play to them and change who you want just to get them to shut up for 5 min about racists/ nazi's

DeSantis is an authoritarian who would clearly be perfectly happy being a dictator. “Nazi” maybe too loose with language, but he’s scary to anyone who values freedom.

Funny... that's the same thing you all said about Trump. And McCain. And Romney. And GWB.

And the racist accusations have already started.

One might see a pattern developing.

I don’t recall that about Romney or Bush. The dictator part that is.

I don’t recall anyone calling Romney a racist, and Kanye West is the only thing I recall about W and blacks.

I don’t recall Romney ever being called a dictator. GWB yeah. Especially since he supposedly made a famous quote about being one.

Love watching you young guys debate politics.

I don't think Trump can win another election and worse, I think his winning would lead to another Trump or Biden choice. That's a crappy choice, but there's a really good chance Biden would win. Trump actually got my dad to vote for a democrat for president for the first time in his life, and his opinion on Trump hasn't improved. His opinion about Biden is the same as it was before. Stupid and mostly benign vs deranged.

Too many of us are disillusioned with Trump. It's not his politics, and it's certainly not his lying. All politicians lie. It's Trump's inability to distinguish fact from fiction whenever he's emotionally vested in an issue. I align a lot more with Trump and DeSantis, and basically the entire Republican party on fiscal policy, the issue I consider to be most important, but I still wouldn't vote for Trump if he ran against Biden. Regardless of your opinion on whether I'm right or wrong to think that politics isn't just a team sport and my willingness to vote against Trump, you should be aware that I'm aligned with a lot of voters who would rather not vote for Biden, but will if the other choice is Trump. I consider Biden to be useless and rather stupid, but as much as I prefer GOP fiscal policy, I still couldn't vote for Trump.

So I'm strongly hoping DeSantis or another good GOP candidate wins the nomination. I'd actually like to see DeSantis run against Amy Klobuchar next year instead of Biden. Sometimes I forget which party she's in. If that election took place, I could happily vote for either and would base it on which way the house and senate races were going and on who might be leaving the supreme court. I'm not quite in the anyone but Trump camp, but unless AOC or someone like her gets on the democratic ticket, there's very little that could get me to vote for Trump. Like it or not, there are enough voters like me to make it more difficult for Trump to win 2024 than it was for him in 2020.

Lmao, do you actually have a real reason other than age? if Trump stays on agenda, I'll take him for another 4 then DeSantis for 8. Let Florida keep winning for a minute.

Let's just be glad youll never be in charge of anything.
